Farmhouse with private pool and hot tub

Our traditional French farmhouse is a special place where you can really relax, get away from it all and let the world pass you by. The farmhouse is over 200 years old and based in rural France, just outside the typical French village of Miallet, Dordogne. Miallet offers a range of shops to keep you provisioned for your stay and excursions further a field will offer a wider range of café and restaurants for you to try. Larger supermarkets are a short drive away. The space This is a beautiful place to unwind, take in the scenery and enjoy the onsite facilities. We are in a beautiful part of France with many lovely places to visit ie, Brantome, Limoges, many beautiful lakes with life guarded beaches (in the summer months) and much more. THE FARMHOUSE Our 200 year old farmhouse is restored with a modern feel throughout, whilst retaining many of its traditional features. It is let on a self catering basis and can sleep up to eight people with room for cots. The gîte is finished with good quality wooden furniture throughout, new flooring, and all en-suites have been recently refurbished. The ground floor is open plan providing a well equipped kitchen which still has it’s traditional inglenook fireplace, a comfortable sitting area with sofas and a TV, DVD player and bluetooth music system, the dining room has a farmhouse table and chairs to seat 8. There is also a separate utility room with WC. There are two bedrooms (one double with en-suite shower room and one bunk bedroom linked via connecting door or can be separate). First floor has two light and spacious bedrooms, one double and one twin both with their own en-suite shower rooms. There is also a small seating/reading area. Utility Room with WC includes:- washing machine, iron and ironing board, etc. Living area includes:- sofas, UK freeview satellite TV, French digital TV, DVD player, bluetooth music system, free wifi, Books and DVD’s Dining area includes:- table and chairs to seat eight, (highchair available on request) Childrens games:- collection of games for all ages. Large private salt water swimming pool. Private large hot tub. Patio and grassed area to front. BBQ. Private garden to the rear. Grassed field to rear of farmhouse with access to childrens play area, table tennis, badminton and basketball. Guest access All onsite facilities are available for guest to use at your leisure. Other things to note During the high season ie. July and August we can only accept week bookings. Other months we can accept booking of minimum 4 nights. The pool is open June to September unless we have exceptionally good weather, in this case we will increase the opening. Electric heating is not included in the price for holidays and will be charged extra at EDF prices.
