Located in the upper part of the village of Verchaix at an altitude of 900 m with a magnificent view of the Giffre Valley and the Aiguille Verte in the Mont Blanc range, Alain and Géraldine will be delighted to welcome you to an authentic Savoyard farm. The space Recently restored, the main building of the old farmhouse (10-person gîte) offers a real comfort area with its 110 m² and consists of: 2 bedrooms for 2 people, each with its own private shower room A 6-person bedroom with 2 private shower rooms A Savoyard mazot with also a private shower room, located a few meters from the main cottage, but independent of it, can accommodate 2 other people and can be offered to you at an extra cost (possibility therefore to book for 10 or 12 people). The whole is a short walk from the property's old barn, also completely renovated, to offer you a space for relaxation and rest. Breakfast is served daily in guest room reservations or as an option for full accommodation (cottage), indoors or on the balcony. L'Echappée des Rêves takes on its full meaning with this barn completely open to the valley that combines tradition and novelty. Guests can enjoy this pleasant place during the day, or in the evening after a day of hiking or skiing. A mezzanine is dedicated to reading, but also to games for young and old. In the main building, you will also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a terrace for outdoor dining area. Each couple or group of vacationers has free access to this kitchen, to be able to prepare a meal for lunch or dinner. The accommodation, which offers stunning mountain and Giffre valley views, is in the heart of a clearing, a privileged place of passage and rest for animals such as deer, foxes, eagles, and other birds of prey. Lovers of nature, hiking or cycling, this place is clearly for you! Both quiet but without being isolated, the house is a few minutes' drive from all amenities as well as many activities to do on site (paragliding, rafting, canyoning, golf, tennis, horse riding, tree climbing, zip line, lake, river, waterfalls...) a hiking trail even starts from the property. Very close to the Grand Massif Haut Giffre ski area (10 minutes by car), it is possible to practice most of the winter sports that are found in the resort. Guest access With this accommodation, 4 parking spaces, including 2 sheltered, are reserved for you. A large terrace shaded in summer overlooking the valley with an absolutely magnificent bird's eye view will enhance your stay. It is equipped with a Weber barbecue and deck chairs. Other things to note On site, a laundry room with washer and dryer is at your disposal.
