The accommodation includes a large living room, a dining room overlooking a small TV lounge, a kitchen plus 5 bedrooms including a PRM with its bathroom. Pool (heated from April to September) on the terrace facing the Loir Valley. The ground floor is adapted for people with reduced mobility. Ideal place to gather with family or friends or for remote working (good connection via fiber plus good quality 4G). The space The accommodation is located in the eastern part of the castle, recently renovated and fully private. With a ground floor comprising living room, dining room, TV room, bedroom and PRM bathroom, and a floor with the other 4 bedrooms including a suite with its small living room allowing you to put baby beds. Guest access You'll have access to the entire cottage, the ground floor and the 1st floor. You also have access to the terrace under the castle, with a table and chairs to enjoy the view and a room to play ping-pong and foosball indoors. Other things to note The first traces of the castle date back to the 12th century. The Dukes of Bellay and Hautefort (including Marie, who was the platonic mistress of Louis XIII and, lady of honor and confidant to Queen Anne of Austria, who was exiled by Richelieu to the castle) lived in this castle. After the revolution, the Marquis de La Roche Bousseau renovated the castle by adding the decorations of the Violet de Duc style era. Since then, the castle has remained in the owners' family.
