Our 3-star cottage is 400 m from the center of Gérardmer and 1700 m from the ski slopes, with beautiful lake views, close to shops and the beach. The space You will stay in a neatly built and comfortable detached house offering a gentle lifestyle, on the edge of the forest, a stone's throw from the city center, in a pleasant environment with stunning views of the lake and the city of Gérardmer (Visit the cottage's website [French and English]: (gitebelvedere.fr) With an area of 58 m2, the cottage is a detached house, designed to accommodate 5 people. Recently built, the cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 with 1 double bed and 1 with 3 single beds). Facing west, it is conveniently located in town and close to the ski resort. Cottage equipment: - Electric storage or radiant heating; - Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue; - Garage for storing leisure equipment (bicycles, skis, luggage); - Bathroom: sink, shower, bathtub, washing machine, heated towel rack, electric shutter; - Living room: comfortable living room with board games available, dining area, flat screen TV, DVD player, mini-chain with MP3 player and external USB socket; - Kitchen: range hood, dishwasher, oven, 4-burner ceramic hob, sink with mixer-showerhead, refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric kettle, electric coffee maker, microwave oven, electric toaster, raclette machine; - Baby equipment: high chair, baby bed and changing table; - Bedroom with 1 double bed: wardrobe with closet, individual lighting, electric shutters, duvet, bolster and pillows; - Bedroom with 3 single beds: wardrobe with closet, individual lighting, electric shutters, duvets, pillows and bolsters. Equipment on request (optional): - Bed linen: €25 (for all beds: fitted sheet, duvet cover, bolster cover, pillowcase). - Towels: €20 (1 bath towel and 1 washcloth per person, 2 bath mats and a hand towel for the toilet sink). - Table linen: €10 (1 towel per person, 3 tea towels and 1 coated tablecloth). - End-of-stay cleaning: €25 (we will do the cleaning, you just leave the cottage tidy and garbage cans emptied). - Baby kit: free (baby bed, mattress for baby arrivalaby bed, high chair, changing mat and plastic bathtub for baby). We leave it to our tenants to decide whether they come with their bed, bath and table linens or whether they prefer to rent them as additional services on request. Guests benefit from stunning and privileged views of the city and Lake Gérardmer. At the back, you have access to a small garden, the forest, and hiking trails. The city center and services are 400 meters from the vacation rental. An airlock makes up the entrance, where there is, on the right, a separate toilet with a hand basin. On the left is a bathroom equipped with a cabinet with sink, shower, bathtub, washing machine, and towel dryer. The bright and spacious living room consists of a sitting area and dining area. It is coupled with the modern and well-equipped kitchen area. The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with three single beds. The exteriors: Outside, a parking space is reserved and accessible in all conditions. On the road to the ski slopes, access to the cottage is guaranteed. A garage space is reserved for you to store your bikes, skis and luggage. A terrace opens onto the garden, consisting of a barbecue area and a relaxation area allows you to enjoy the outdoors. We provide you with a welcome booklet containing the history of Gérardmer, our recommendations and hikes to do in Gérardmer and the surrounding area. Guest access A closed garage is available to guests for a car and bicycles. Covid-19 measures at the Gîte du Belvédère In order to improve the health security of the Belvédère gîte in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have reinforced three actions that we implement before each new arrival, namely: 1. Protective measures for use by persons in charge of cleaning Before cleaning the gite, the people in charge of these services put on waterproof disposable gloves, after washing their hands. Gloves are thrown out after each cleaning. These cleaners wash their hands immediately after removing their gloves. 2. Disinfection of contact surfaces Surfaces that can be handled and/or touched are systematically cleaned and then disinfected. 3. Bedding protection Mattresses and pillows are protected by covers cleaned at high temperatures, and installed before arrival.
