House with old terraced garden in Bargemon

Our house used to be a "cabanon" where villagers rested after gardening. The old terraced garden features an olive orchard, fig and cherry trees, a magnificent swimming-pool, a pétanque strip, fountains and lots of tree-shaded areas to rest and read. The house has 3 levels. The main level includes a large living-room, the spacious eat-in kitchen and a bathroom. The upper level has 3 bdrms, a bathroom and a large terrace overlooking the valley. At pool level, 2 bdrms and a bathroom. The space Contrary to many houses in Provence, our house is bright and sunny thanks to spacious rooms (notably the living-room) and large windows. In winter the sun streams in, which is a blessing. Another distinctive feature is that it is surrounded by greenery, providing shade and a cool breeze even in the middle of summer. Our trees are an exception in Bargemon. We built our pool at a distance from the house to provide privacy and deaden the noise inevitably caused by screaming children in the water. In the same vein, the garden is large enough to include secluded corners to escape from the invasive family.
