On a peaceful tree-lined street, Doulton Cottage is located near the junction of the Newell and Sturt Highways in the heart of Narrandera. This beautiful accommodation is convenient to unwind and revive between Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, or as a base to explore the historic Riverina region. Enjoy modern luxuries in your own private, pet-friendly Victorian-era cottage overlooking the iconic Narrandera Park, just a short stroll from the local hospital, shops, cafes and restaurants. The space First built in 1893, Doulton Cottage has been meticulously renovated throughout, providing modern amenities and comfort whilst retaining the charm and elegance of the Victorian era with intact original features. BEDROOMS Doulton Cottage has two bedrooms, each designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation with private ensuite, climate control, luxurious bedding, electric blankets, and televisions. - Master Bedroom: king bed, walk-in robe, private ensuite - Garden View Room: queen bed, private ensuite Please note: a booking of 1 or 2 people gives access to the entire house with the exception of the use of the Garden View bedroom and ensuite. Simply alter the booking to 3 or 4 people in order to utilize the Garden View bedroom. Further details are outlined under Guest Access below. INDOOR LIVING The open plan living area comprises of the lounge, dining and kitchen. Wifi and Foxtel available. When the temperature drops, curl up on the couch by the fire with a local wine. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, including dishwasher and a coffee maker. It’s stocked with Nespresso coffee pods, a range of local preserves, and all the cooking staples you might need to ensure you feel right at home. The laundry is equipped with a washer and dryer. OUTDOOR LIVING Lit with warm hanging lights, the spacious outdoor dining area includes a Weber BBQ and 8 person dining area for al fresco dining on warm nights. The yard is large and fully enclosed, giving plenty of space to enjoy the herb garden and breathe that beautiful Riverina air. Guest access All bookings guarantee you exclusive use of Doulton Cottage. When making a booking, default pricing is set for two people sharing one bedroom; the Garden View room and adjoining ensuite will remain closed off at this rate. If you wish to use both bedrooms (i.e two friends wanting separate rooms) please alter the booking to 3 or 4 people to reflect this. This policy allows Doulton Cottage to remain an affordable luxury. Well behaved pets are welcome in all parts of the property, except on furnishings and bedding. The property is fully enclosed with secure fencing. Other things to note We have enhanced our already thorough cleaning routine due to the coronavirus, and we’re commited to taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
