The spacious open-plan kitchen, with its clean lines and granite countertops, is equipped with a dishwasher and all appliances and cooking items for the holiday gourmet! The living room is relaxed and inviting with free WiFi, cable Tv (plus enhanced channels) and a Dvd player and iPhone/iPod speakers. Making the most of the space, there is a top-quality queen-sized pull-down bed stowed in cabinetry in the living room. This offers an additional sleeping option along with the king-size bed in the large double bedroom. Radiant under-floor heating throughout the apartment adds cosiness and warmth. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required. Please note that there is no washing machine available for use in this chalet. But there is a self-service laundromat in the village just a 5-minute (350m) walk away.
