With two bedrooms and lots of natural light, this apartment has recently been refurbished to give maximum comfort to all who will enjoy this magnificent property. The whole apartment invites you to have a good time, in a combination of the wonderful view of the bay of the city and the creative and intervention of the artist, Carla Cabral. The property is close to the city center (five minutes walk), and the road accesses that allow you to quickly move to the east or west side of the island. With a maximum capacity of four people, the house is fully equipped with all basic amenities. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Guests have easy access to several restaurants in the surrounding area. Most shops, shopping centers, and supermarkets are fifteen minutes’ walk away. This flat is situated close to the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic center of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town. (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc …) GETTING AROUND Although a aerobus bus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within 20 minutes walk distance from the flat, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the flat. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always at your disposal to help or answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair, and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are available in all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay.
