The Blue Ox Guest House on Gull is a large 5 Bed 5 Bath Home Ideal for hosting multiple families or big groups. (Sleeps 17) Located in the heart of the Gull Lake Chain of Lakes, the unit includes a private boat slip, resort amenities like indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, pickleball and tennis courts, etc... Ideal location within walking distance of Zorbaz and Bar Harbor, the boat launch, and only minutes to some of the top golf courses. (bachelor/bachelorette welcome - walk to Zorbaz) This place is BIG. 3,250 Sq Ft with five bedrooms (2 masters!), five bathrooms, and a two-car garage this is the perfect home to host multiple families or your large group getaway. The three-level layout allows plenty of room for everyone to spread out and comfortably sleep 17 guests. The home is part of the Causeway on Gull Resort with access to indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs plus sports courts, game rooms, and a private boat slip on gull lake. We have stocked the unit with plenty of bikes, balls, and racquets to keep the kids busy and the kitchen has everything you will need. For parking, we have two spaces right in front of the unit plus plenty of room for extra vehicles and trailer parking right outside in the overflow parking area. If you'd like to rent a boat, there are two options right on-site with YourBoatClub and LakeFunRentals, and several more are only minutes away. This home is our own personal family cabin, and we have gone the extra mile to be sure it is fully stocked with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is loaded; just bring your ingredients and skills. There are games and puzzles for evenings and rainy days to keep everyone entertained. Six Smart TVs so you can access all your favorite shows and rent/stream all the content you get at home. There is a 2nd fridge in the garage to keep all your beverages nice and cold which is really a necessity for larger groups. We are set in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes area. The Location is awesome within walking distance to Zorbaz, Bar Harbor and Lost Lake Lodge. Prices and cancelation terms through Airbnb vary from booking directly through our website at SmothersVacations or other sites. We have different pricing and cancellation policies for each method. CHECK-IN: Before arrival, you will enter guest info into the online check-in form, and we will email you your front door code, wi-fi info, etc. That's it! When it's time for your trip, you won't waste valuable vacation time at a front desk waiting to check in. Just hit the road and head straight to the unit. Availability is kept current on all sites, and the prices are as listed. Prices vary by date and local demand. If you are unable to book what looks like open dates, it may have a minimum night stay for that time frame (holiday weekends, high-demand dates, etc.) Electronic Smart Lock to Access the Unit. Golf Carts Available for Rent at the resort front desk (limited availability) Boat Rental is Available on Site We live two hours away but we do have on-site staff to help in the case of any emergencies. And we are happy to help anytime via phone/text/email. The Blue Ox Guest House on Gull is part of the Causeway on Gull Resort. This unit was newly built in 2021 and comes with boat slip usage right on Gull Lake Next to Zorbaz AND full access to the Causeway on Gull Resort with two pools, game rooms, etc. We keep some classic beach cruiser bikes in the garage to zip around the resort, down to Zorbaz or over to Bar Harbor. There is parking for up to 4 vehicles at the unit and plenty of overflow and trailer parking right next to our building. There are local shuttle services available as well that can even get your large groups to and from bars or golfing.
