You will wake up to bird song and might hear a possum on the roof during the night. The occasional insect inside is considered normal. On bushwalks, you might encounter lizards and snakes; more so in Spring and Summer. Guests accept this and take responsibility for their safety. The dwelling is separate to the main farm house with bushes in between the buildings. It's private but not completely secluded. We are dog friendly and offer a great space for your pup. Please read our pet rules and let us know that you agree to them when you book. Guest access Guests can explore the farm following the bush trail signs. The walks lead past the geese, sheep and horses down to the dam and our pigs Mo and Joe. You might even meet our friendly cows on the way. INTERACTIONS WITH ANIMALS AT THE FARM You are welcome to feed your food scraps /unwanted leftovers to Mo and Joe. Simply put them in the trough by their fence. We will leave a jar with sunflower seeds for kids to feed to our chickens in the afternoons when we let them out. We ask that guests do not hand feed any other farm animals. This is for safety reasons and also because one of our horses has dietary requirements. Just a heads up that our fences are electric Other things to note Access to our farm is via a 2 km gravel road. Parking is available in the drive way in front of the yard entrance. The accommodation and main farm house share the same farm entrance. Our two dogs have access to the shared yard outside the fenced guest accommodation. Dash is an old kelpie who will keep to himself. Zap is a friendly border collie.
