Woodenhouse on a lake/river with beach &playground

Insulated wooden house on a very large, secluded private southwest-facing plot, with lake view, Wi-Fi, smart TV, fireplace & outdoor shower. Approximately 20km north of Albufeira, we have our own private beach with lake access, a ping-pong room, Kayaks and SUPs €20, JetSki €50, and an electric BBQ boat €60 Very peaceful location amidst the natural beauty of southern Portugal. No traffic, no airplanes, no tourists, just a fantastic starry sky Swimming in the lake is welcome & fishing is possible. The space Thanks to the excellent insulation, the house is about 10°C cooler inside than outside in the summer. This eliminates the need for air conditioning, but we have one. In winter, the warmth from the fireplace lasts all night until morning. The entire house is equipped with mosquito netting, although we don't have many mosquitoes here. The amenities include: A living room with a fireplace, two bedrooms with sinks and up to three beds each, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a spacious terrace with a BBQ, and a small breakfast table with seating in the sun. Bed linens, towels, and gas for the shower, stove, and BBQ are included for normal use. The living room features: an open-plan kitchen and a pellet stove (in winter), a pull-out double corner sofa, a coffee table, a chest of drawers, stools, shelves, a mirror, a large smart TV, a Blu-ray/DVD player, and a Bluetooth Bose speaker. The kitchen: has a 4-burner stove, large refrigerator with freezer, sink, professional coffee machine, oven, kettle, toaster, egg cooker, citrus juicer, and shelves. The left bedroom: has a sink with a mirrored cabinet, a bedside table with a lamp, and can be furnished with two possible options: - two lower single beds (200cm x 90cm, separated) and one upper single bed (200cm x 90cm) - a lower king-size double bed (200cm x 180cm) and one upper single bed (200cm x 90cm) The right bedroom: is furnished with a lower double bed (200cm x 140cm) and one upper single bed (200cm x 90cm). It also has a sink with a mirrored cabinet, a bedside table with a lamp, and a computer desk. Each bed has its own wall lamp. Both bedrooms can be completely darkened with external blackout blinds (perfect for sleeping in). The terrace: Features a large extendable wooden table with 5 chairs, a gas-powered BBQ, and a patio heater (for winter use) (gas not included). In front of the terrace are 4 folding sun loungers and a small wooden coffee table. There is also a small, separate open-air breakfast table that enjoys morning sun. Our children's playground includes a treehouse, trampoline, slide, 2 swings, a sandbox, and plenty of beach sand. It is located a short distance from the wooden house, towards the bungalow (the second rental unit). 5 kayaks and 2 SUPs are available for the lake/river trip - €20 each per day Jet skis are €2.50 per minute - minimum €50 Electric donut boat for 6-7 people: €60 per day With BBQ including charcoal and lighter fluid: €90 per day We have reconstructed part of our ruin into a hobby and party room. The rest is still under construction (2026). Here you will find a ping-pong table with all accessories, a JBL 300 party speaker, a wood-burning stove, a refrigerator, and plenty of seating. If the bungalow (second rental) is also rented, the playground, kayaks, SUPs, JetSki, BBQ boat, beach, and ping-pong room are available to both parties. Inter-party arrangements allow for individual use. I am happy to assist. The nearest larger town is S.B. Messines, with supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, gas stations, etc., is less than a 10-minute drive away. The ocean beaches of Albufeira and Armação are about a 25-minute drive from Messines. Carvoeiro and Portimão are about 35-45 minutes away. €75-100 per night depending on the season 5-night minimum stay Please note our house rules. Guest access There are parking spaces right next to, in front of and behind the house. Other things to note Our black cat Tosca mainly stays upstairs in the private area and should not be chased.
