Heart of a vast tree‑filled garden dotted with cabins, our house, a home with real character , welcomes families, friends, and joyful tribes who love sharing beautiful moments in nature. With an American pool table, games, cosy relaxation areas and large tables for shared meals, everything is here for playing, laughing and gathering across generations. The space The House: With its generous capacity (5 bedrooms, up to 15 guests) and its vast fully enclosed 4,500 m² wooded garden, this welcoming home on the edge of the forest is the ideal place for holidays or shared moments with one or several families or groups of friends. You will enjoy the peace and spaciousness of this 230 m² house, allowing everyone—young and old—to live at their own pace in the heart of nature. - Ground Floor: You will find a large living room (3 sofas + armchairs) with a professional American pool table , TV, and panoramic fireplace, opening onto a dining room that seats 14. This level includes: - One bedroom for 2 people - One bedroom with a double bed + a single bunk bed + a baby bed - A bathroom with XXL shower - Two separate toilets, including one with raised seating The kitchen, renovated in 2026 and opening onto a covered terrace, is fully equipped: induction hobs, 71 L pyrolysis oven, microwave, large-capacity fridge-freezer (500 L), dishwasher, wok, tagine pot, steamer, yogurt maker, bread machine, toaster, raclette sets, stone grill, crêpe maker, Lagrange waffle iron, food processors, extensive tableware, traditional coffee maker, Senseo, Tassimo, Dolce Gusto Krups, Nespresso, beer tap, and more. -First Floor: A second lounge area with a sofa bed and TV leads to: - Two bedrooms with double beds + baby beds - A bathroom The third bedroom (35 m²), with exposed beams, includes a Queen-size bed and three single beds. It is a paradise for children and teens, with board games, toys, costumes, guitars, books, and comics. For little ones: 5 baby beds (2 with bars, 3 folding), several extra beds, 3 high chairs, changing table, baby bathtub, potty, walker… All bedrooms can accommodate an extra bed or baby bed. - Comfort & Equipment: - Air circulators and fans in all bedrooms - Internet access / workspace in each bedroom - 50" TV on the ground floor, 43" TV upstairs - Marshall connected speaker + connected portable lamp - 8 kg washing machine + 16 kg large-capacity dryer - The entire house is furnished and decorated with restored antique pieces crafted by my father, a cabinetmaker. - Outdoor Spaces: Depending on the season or weather, enjoy meals: - In the kitchen - Around the large family table (14 seats) - On the terrace under the wisteria - Outside under the weeping birch Three WEBER barbecues (electric, gas, charcoal) and a Krampouz electric plancha are available. By bike (available on request) or on foot, explore the forest and countryside through numerous marked trails. - Nearby: Autun (10 minutes by car) is a city with 2,000 years of history, known for its ancient remains (temple, theatre, gates, ramparts) and its medieval Saint-Lazare Cathedral, a masterpiece of Cluniac art. Local markets take place under the Town Hall, Place du Champ de Mars, on Wednesday and Friday mornings. The first vineyards of Santenay and Couchois are just a few kilometers away. Wine tastings at home can be arranged with the Cellier Laly (booking required). Autun offers many leisure activities: golf, tennis, swimming, horse riding, bowling, climbing, mountain biking, museums, guided tours, hot-air balloon flights… From Autun, you can explore Gaul and Roman heritage (Alésia, Bibracte), castles (Sully, Couches, Cormatin), Romanesque churches and abbeys (Cluny, Fontenay), Burgundy wines and gastronomy, the Burgundy Canal… Outdoor lovers will enjoy the Morvan Regional Park: lakes, forests, hiking, mountain biking, tree climbing, rafting, canoeing, climbing, horse riding, trout fishing… For a weekend or several days, this family house becomes your party ground. Guest access -The whole house may be used, but there will be no access to the basement Other things to note - Sleeping Arrangements & Children : The house offers 16 adult for 9 beds. For young children, baby beds can be set up in any bedroom. On site, you will find : - 2 wooden baby cribs - 3 travel cots - 2 Tripp Trapp chairs - 1 booster seat - 1 changing table - 1 baby bathtub and 1 potty - 1 baby walker - 1 lightweight stroller - 1 bottle warmer The equipment is fully suited to welcome infants and toddlers in the best conditions. - Heating & Firewood : During the heating season, heating charges are additional and calculated according to your actual consumption, based on the meter readings taken at arrival and departure (heat pump). As the house is large, heating costs may vary between €7 and €25 per day in winter. Firewood for the fireplace: € 10 per box. - Linen & Comfort : Household linen is provided: - Fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases (to be put in place by guests) - Bath towels All beds are equipped with mattress toppers for optimal comfort. Laundry is handled by a center employing people with disabilities. If possible, please remove the linen and group it together before departure. - Cleaning & Security Deposit: End‑of‑stay cleaning ( €110 ) is included in the amount calculated by the booking platform.
