Ideally located between the fine wine route of Burgundy and the regional natural parc of the Morvan, this spacious house is situated at the edge of the forest of Planoise near the heart of the city of Autun. The space The house: - With its high capacity (5 bedrooms, 16 people) and its huge 4500 m² fully enclosed garden, this friendly house on the edge of the forest is the ideal place for vacations or moments to share with one or more families or friends. - You'll appreciate the calm and spaciousness of this 230 m² house, allowing young and old to live at their own pace in the heart of nature. On the first floor, you'll enjoy a large living room with TV and panoramic fireplace, opening onto the 14-seat dining room, a bedroom for 2 people (140 cm), a bedroom with 1 bed for 2 people (140 cm) and a bunk bed for one person (90 cm) + a crib, a bathroom and two WCs, one of which is raised. The kitchen, renovated in 2020 and opening onto a covered terrace, is fully equipped (induction hob, 71 l pyrolysis oven, microwave, large-capacity fridge-freezer (500 l), dishwasher, wok, tagine, steam cooker, yoghurt maker, bread maker, toaster, raclette, pierrade, crèpes-party sets, Lagrange waffle maker, food processors, crockery and cutlery for numerous guests, traditional, Senseo, Tassimo and Nespresso coffee makers, etc.). A professional billiard table will give you unforgettable moments! - On the second floor, a lounge area with sofa bed and TV leads to two bedrooms with 2-person beds (140 cm) and a shower room. The third 35 m² bedroom, with its exposed beams, has 1 queen-size bed for 2 (160 cm), three single beds (90 cm) and a crib. It will be a favorite spot for your children and teenagers, who will find plenty of board games, toys, masquerade costume, guitars, books and comics. For the little ones: 5 cots (2 with bars and 3 folding), numerous extra beds, 3 baby chairs, changing table, bathtub, potty, baby walker... - Internet access / desk area in each room - A 50“ TV in the living room on the ground floor and a 43” TV in the living room on the second floor. - Marschall connected loudspeaker - An 8kg washing machine and a 16kg large-capacity tumble dryer. - The whole house is furnished and decorated with antique furniture and objects, restored by my father, a cabinetmaker. - Depending on your mood, the season or the weather, you'll be able to share your meals simply in the kitchen, in large numbers around the family table (14 place settings), on the terrace under the wisteria or in the shade of the weeping birch outside. You can go for walks in the surrounding woods and meadows and return with bouquets of daffodils and lilies of the valley, as well as baskets full of mushrooms. - There's also a free public tennis court just a five-minute walk from the house. - By bike (on loan) or on foot, you can explore the surrounding forest and countryside via numerous forest paths and marked hiking trails. - A 10-minute drive will take you to Autun, a town with 2000 years of history, famous for its ancient remains (temple, theaters, gates, ramparts) and its medieval cathedral, Saint-Lazare, a major work of Cluniac art whose Gilbertus sculptures are masterpieces of Romanesque art. - Markets are held under the town hall, Place du Champ de Mars, on Wednesday and Friday mornings, where you can meet local producers and discover the delights of our beautiful Burgundy. - Our house is just a few kilometers from the first vineyards of Santenay and Couchois. Autun also boasts a number of excellent wine merchants. Autun offers a wide range of leisure activities: golf, tennis, water sports, horse riding, bowling, climbing, mountain biking, museums, guided tours, hot-air ballooning, etc. - From Autun, you can follow in the footsteps of the Gauls and Romans (Alesia, Bibracte, etc.) and discover the many castles (Sully, Couches, Cormatin, etc.), Romanesque churches and abbeys (Cluny, Fontenay, etc.), fine wines and gastronomy, the Burgundy canal, etc. Lovers of the great outdoors and sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do in and around the Parc du Morvan: lakes and forests, hiking, mountain biking, accro branches, rafting, canoeing, climbing, horse riding, trout fishing... - In short, you'll be able to recharge your batteries, relax, get together with family and friends, learn new things and make new friends. Mattress protectors are changed when guests leave. - Bath towel,hand towels and 2 wash gloves Central heating and fire places: -Charges ( heating only -water and electricity included in the rental price) calculated according to your usage from a meter reading taken on your arrival and then your departure (heating gas € 3.50 per m3). -Wood for fire place : 10€ per box -Cleaning incluted in the rental price : 110€ We live in Paris and you will be welcomed by Guy & Francette who will go over the inventory with you, and give you all the information you need to make your stay pleasant.
