Tucked into the wooded hills of Strathpeffer — one of the Highlands’ most beautiful Victorian spa villages — Peffer Lodge is a warm, light-filled home built for proper Highland relaxation. Just minutes’ walk from the village centre, it’s an ideal base for exploring the NC500, Loch Ness, Inverness and beyond. The Lodge has been designed to create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere to unwind and socialise with family and friends. The space The house has an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with large windows that flood the space with natural light and frame lovely views of the woodland garden beyond. A wood-burning stove makes the living room especially cosy on cooler evenings. Upstairs, a second TV lounge gives families and groups plenty of space to spread out. All rooms are generous in size with comfortable beds and modern furnishings. The garage has a table tennis table for guests to enjoy, and bikes can be stored there too. A large, south-facing private garden and off-street parking for up to 4 cars complete the picture. The Lodge is designed with accessibility in mind. There is level, step-free access to the front door via a short ramp, and a twin bedroom and shower room are both located on the ground floor. Rogie Falls, Loch Kinellan and direct woodland access to Cats Back Ridge are all on your doorstep. Inverness, Culloden and Loch Ness are under an hour’s drive, and the Lodge is perfectly placed for the NC500. Guest access The whole house is for guests use, the garage has a table tennis table and the space can be used to store bicycles. The house is located in the grounds of Elsick which has a shared driveway and courtyard in front of the Lodge. There is a large private south facing garden for visitors to use.
