Close by (2.5km's away) you have the lovely patrolled (Sep-Apr) surf beach of Fingal Bay, also offering a cafe, restaurant and children's playground, plus a great off leash dog exercising area. Nelson Bay CBD is 3.2km away, and offers boutique shopping, award winning restaurants, fishing co-op, specialty stores and dolphin cruises down at the Marina. Bagnalls beach is a lovely off leash dog friendly beach and is about 5kms from the holiday house.
