The space There are five bedrooms, one of which is more suitable for a child. All bedrooms have 2 single beds that can also set as a double bed. All bedrooms beside the smaller one have a very large and generous balcony. The chalet is conveniently located 2 minutes from the center of Chateau-d Oex. You will face a breathtalking views of the postcard looking swiss mountains and enjoy undisputed sunshines throughout the day. In a very calm and private surrounding the chalet offers you the relaxing environment you are looking for and includes a nice garden, and unforgettable terrace with an unbeatable view and the charm of the real swiss wooden chalet. The kitchen is modern yet keeps its authentic touch, dining room, living room and most bellowed sunroom and the terrace are there for you to accommodate you best. Additionally 4 spacious and 1 regular bedroom will levitate you in no-time to your sweetest dreams. Chateau-d Oex is the main village in a large area known as the Pays d Enhaut. Even though it's a small village, it has a number of restaurants and a well-equipped COOP supermarket and various other small stores. The village has a striking old church on a hill in the centre and several ancient chalets. It is about ten kilometres to world-renowned Gstaad and Gruyere is about 20 kilometres away. A small train winds through the mountains to Montreux in one direction and towards Interlaken in the other. The train station is situated in the village, a 2 minutes walk away and will connect you throughout Switzerland and to any part of Europe. Hot-Air Balloon Week at the end of January each year is an unforgeable experience and great time to visit the chalet .You can experience the cheese being made in a local Fromagerie or hike up the mountains to see the cows in the high alpage during the summer months. Downhill skiing in winter can include skiing the whole Gstaad valley area, with skiing at Saanenmoser usually available to Easter.
