Lumley House is a lovingly restored period home with modern features within a 4 minute walk to Bright's iconic splash park, the beautiful Ovens River, Bright's famous brewery, cafes, shops and walking and biking trails. With four large bedrooms, two lounge rooms, a modern kitchen, log fire, swimming pool, outdoor entertaining area, secure courtyard with fire pit and a lockable bike shed, Lumley House offers luxury and proximity to all you need for your holiday. Built in 1898 this beautiful house was one of the first in Bright, and was relocated to the prime position to the river and town that it now occupies. Our renovation focused on providing modern luxuries and enhancing the beautiful period features of this house. We were so pleased to open the doors to our lovely guests in October 2018 and we are enjoying to continually have visitors enjoy Lumley House and the surrounds of Bright. Lumley House has 4 bedrooms sleeping 10 in all configurations for couples, families and groups, 2 living areas, log fire , large kitchen, swimming pool secure courtyard and large garden. The house is configured as follows; Ground floor: -Bedroom 1 - en-suite and king bed that can split into two singles. -Bedroom 2 - king bed that can split into two singles. -Bedroom 3 - king bed that can split into two singles. -Large modern country kitchen with large fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave and cooktop. -Open plan living and dining with 55 inch flat screen TV with huge sliding doors opening to the swimming pool. (Watch the kids in the pool from the comfort of the couch!). -Large bathroom with shower, bath and separate toilet. -Fully functional laundry with washing machine. Upstairs: -Lounge/games room with TV, books, games etc. Perfect for the kids to be entertained while the adults enjoy some time downstairs. - Bedroom 4 with one set of bunks and a queen size bed - third toilet Outdoors: - In-ground swimming pool with paved and grassed area - Outdoor entertainment area with BBQ and seating - Separate fenced private side courtyard with fire pit and seating - Lockable shed with bike stand and selected bike tools - Landscaped and large grassed front lawn area -If you are traveling with little people let us know so we can arrange for a porta-cot at no extra charge. Please byo cot linen etc Pricing: Rate includes up to 6 Guests . Additional fee of $60 per person / per night applies to each guest after 6 guests ie 7 onwards . Children under 2 are free of charge and have use of the port cot and high chair (please bring bedding for cot) *Please note min stays /peak rates apply within peak periods ie School holidays and long weekends Guest access Guests have full access of the house if required . *Please let you know your bedding requirements upon booking and if you require all 4 bedrooms . *The Queen /bunk upstairs bedroom will be locked unless requested . *Do you need any of the king beds split into king singles ? i.e. are you couples /singles . How many beds are required . *Please not if using the cots you are required to bring your own cot linen etc. . Thank you Linda Manager in Bright Other things to note The house has a fully lockable shed equipped with bike hooks, workstand and a set of tools. It can also store your ski's, inflatable toys (to wander down to the river with) or any other adventure toys that you need to bring on your holiday. We supply enough wood for a nightly fire during winter .Additional firewood can be purchased at IGA ,Woolworths if required .
