Ranis Lodge is an enchanting self catering rural retreat tucked away at the foothills of Bukit Sawak Forest Reserve. We sought to create a warm and genuine destination, to provide our guests a true sense of a home away from home. Our rural location is ideal for nature lovers and anyone who loves peace and tranquility. The elevated hillside setting affords stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hills, paddy fields and misty mornings. Welcome to our home. The space Ranis Lodge is set on 5 acres of undulating terrain. It is a gem off the beaten track, away from the hectic tourist areas, built with love on a foothill surrounded by nature. Our villas are self catering units. ANGAH is a super cozy one bedroom 50m2 private villa with a king size bed, living room with integrated kitchen, indoor bathroom with an outdoor shower and a terrace. It offers air condition in the bedroom with ceiling fans in the bedroom, living room and terrace. The contemporary design respects simplicity and functionality without compromise on luxury and comfort. Its elevated location affords wonderful views of Gunung Raya, paddy fields, the surrounding hills and our green belt, home to a multitude of wildlife. On clear days, you are treated to amazing sunrises/sunsets and misty mornings. A perfect spot, anytime in the day or the evening to just sit out and enjoy nature's gift. All units are self-catering with fully equipped kitchen for you to prepare light meals. There is no oven. Our resident cats and dogs roam free on the property. Grab/taxis are allowed inside Ranis Lodge gate only when you arrive. At other times, they can only drop you off outside the main gate. We recommend having your own car or scooter, this will provide the best freedom and flexibility to explore. There is no washing machine on site. There are many 'drop & pick up' launderettes around the island, they save time and are cheap. They charge by the kilo approximately rm5/kilo for wash, dry and fold. Quiet hours is from 10pm-8am. Our hot water is run on solar power. Strictly no smoking anywhere inside the villa. You can smoke outside on the balcony. Please do not bring durian or mangosteen inside the villa. They can be eaten on the balcony. Please help us to reduce global warming by switching off your air conditioning when you leave. The gorgeous natural settings of Ranis Lodge comes with visits from the local wildlife. Be prepared for wildlife visits including insects/lizards outside and inside your villa and the variety of jungle music.
