Description
Mid 19th century, recently restored cottage, next to church in the centre of the beautiful village of Dunster with its castle and medieval yarn market. Floral Cottage has been decorated in keeping with its age but to give a light, airy feeling and finished with quality antique furnishings. The space The cottage is ideally situated in the village on a quiet, residential street but within a couple of minutes walk of all the facilities in Dunster, including the Castle. The ground floor consists of living area with large fireplace with wood burner, underfloor heating, dining area and fully fitted kitchen leading out to a walled patio area with garden table and chairs. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, the front bedroom has a kingsized bed and the back bedroom is fitted with two single beds. There is a family bathroom with over bath power shower. Gas central heating via radiators is provided upstairs. Parking is on the road with several spaces opposite the cottage and continuing up the road or just around the corner. Use of a shared communal garden is also available. Dogs are welcome in the cottage but we do ask that they are not allowed on the furniture or left in the cottage alone. A welcome pack of grocery essentials together with a homemade cake and fresh flowers will be provided in the cottage on arrival. In view of the Coronavirus crisis we are committed to an extra cleaning protocol to minimise any risk of virus transmission. We will also leave extra cleaning supplies in the cottage for guests' use, should they be required. Our cancellation policy will include a full refund should a reservation need to be cancelled in line with Government policy. Guest access The whole house is available for your sole use. Other things to note This really is a most delightful village to be based in, with a wealth of pubs, eating places and local attractions (Dunster Castle being the star of the show), whilst the whole of Exmoor is on your doorstep waiting to be explored by car, on foot, by bike or maybe even horseback.
