Cliff House occupies a unique south facing sea front position on the Pentire headland overlooking Crantock Beach on the south side of Newquay. It has all the benefits of being next to some of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall (Fistral and Crantock) and yet is in a quiet residential area. The house is set in 1 acre of south facing gardens which go down to the sea, giving private access to beach and sea. The house is listed for 14 persons, 10 in main house and up to 4 in the apartment.. Cliff House offers the guests a luxurious spacious and private living environment in which to enjoy family holidays or special occasion gatherings . The house comprises more than 4500 square feet of space over two floors. There is also a separate apartment located in another building within the grounds- complete with bathroom and kitchenette which can sleep 4 persons- it has bunk beds and a super king bed. This is the 6th bedroom and is for the exclusive use of the guests, it is not let out separately. In the main house the 5 bedrooms are super king size beds (2 can be split into 2 singles in each room ) and all bedrooms have luxury en-suite bathrooms. The living areas are at first floor consequently it has amazing elevated south facing sea views. The main living space is over 20 meters long and the open plan spaces flow from living to dining to huge well equipped kitchen. There are 2 large sitting rooms -both with sea/beach views- and both have very large smart TVs, this proves useful for allowing children to watch different programs to parents if required. There is also a large utility and cloak room on this level. The well equipped and spacious kitchen is perfect for large family gatherings. French doors and bi fold doors open up from the dining and living spaces onto the south terrace with its far reaching views of Crantock beach and beyond to the open sea. The large terrace is the perfect spot for dining at any time of the day and has a large electric griddle- perfect for barbecues. At lower ground floor there is an indoor swimming pool complete with swimming jet and a pool shower room. The pool has large bi-fold doors that open up onto the south facing terrace and is adjacent to the hot tub. There is a small gym with running machine and other fitness equipment. 4 of the bedrooms are on the lower floor- 3 with access to the terrace and all with en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have super king size beds, 2 of which can be split to singles if required. The master room has a huge bathroom and walk in dressing room. The shear size of the house makes it ideal for family gatherings, celebrations or any special occasion or just a jolly good holiday. There is ample parking for 5-6 cars, all behind electronic gates. The direct access to the sea from the garden makes this the ideal place for water lovers whether it is surfing, paddle boarding, swimming or kayaking. All can be enjoyed without driving to a beach. There is also a summer house at the bottom of the garden- perfect for a quiet afternoon of reading or watching the world go by. Guests have exclusive access to all of the house and gardens and separate apartment. Communication with guests is via phone, text, email or other digital means. A comprehensive house manual is on hand and a local representative is available if assistance is required. The Pentire headland is an area of outstanding natural beauty located to the south of Newquay town. It is only a mile form the shops but feels a world away as it is a quiet residential neighborhood. Cliff House is located on the south side of Pentire so benefits from a south facing aspect over to Crantock beach and the Gannel Estuary. . This area has an almost Mediterranean feel with palms and other greenery that flourishes on this sheltered side of the headland. There are several good restaurants, pubs within very easy walking distance and Fistral beach is only 6 minutes walk. There is ample carparking within the grounds of cliff House but for those who wish to use public transport - buses run regularly from the next street. Newquay airport is around 10 miles away (20 minutes drive) and there is a train station in Newquay with major links to cities in the UK. The benefit of staying in Cliff house is that you can walk to several beaches within 6-10 minutes thus saving the problem of parking and high summer parking charges. Cliff House is ideal for large gatherings of family or friends and beach lovers whether they are surfers or just enjoy the pleasures of the sand and sea.. It is completely private and exclusive, offering guests complete freedom to enjoy their stay without worry of upsetting the neighbors. The jewel in the crown of this house on the cliff is that it has its own access (via the beautiful well stocked gardens) to the beach below by steps. You can literally surf from the bottom of the garden, or paddle board kayak or any other water sport. The immediate area has several very good restaurants, many of which welcome children and dogs. There is a golf course only 5 minutes drive away, extensive cliff top walks and Newquay town center and harbour are 15 minutes walk away ( 5 minutes drive).
