Apartment 1 is located on the first floor of an old farmhouse. It has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 5 people. Due to the layout, it is not only ideal for families with children, but also hiking enthusiasts will find plenty of space here. The large garden with terrace and numerous playground equipment invite you to linger. Within walking distance you can reach the lookout point "Zur schönen Aussicht," which offers a wonderful view of Lake Rur and the national park. The space With its 95 square meters, the accommodation offers enough space for 5 people. We lovingly refurbished and renovated this apartment in 2021. In total, this apartment has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a double bed and the 2nd bedroom is equipped with a 1.60 m wide bed and a single bed. This bedroom also has a door to the outside, from where you can directly access the yard and garden. On your arrival, the beds are of course already made. The kitchen has a cozy dining area and a well-equipped kitchenette. Here you will find everything you need for cooking, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and much more. We will gladly provide you with high chairs, according to the age of the children, if necessary. If you need any other children's items, such as a crawling blanket, travel bed, baby rocker or baby monitor, just contact us. The living room offers enough seating for a cozy family evening and a small reading corner with an armchair. In the bathroom with toilet and shower, sufficient towels are already available for you upon your arrival. The old barn was converted by us into a common room. Here you will find a washing machine and dryer as well as a beverage refrigerator from which you are welcome to help yourself. In the game cabinet, you will find numerous board games for young and old. If the weather is not so good, your little ones are welcome to play with the shop or help themselves to the toy boxes. In nice weather, you can sit in the sun on our terrace in the morning while the children explore the large garden. A climbing frame with slide and swings, a sandbox and a trampoline are just waiting to be discovered. Or the children can set sail with our "Blaues Wunder" play boat. In the garden house you will find numerous outdoor toys, such as soccer, tennis, Bobby Car and pedal tractor, as well as a grill and sun loungers. Guest access From the staircase you can access the courtyard and from there directly into the large garden, which is shared. The garden faces south, so you can already enjoy your breakfast in the sun. Here on the large outdoor area, children will find everything that makes children's hearts beat faster, such as a climbing frame with swings, trampoline, sandbox, and play boat. In the back of the garden, our chickens have their coop and are always happy when someone comes by with food. If the chickens are hardworking enough, they can get fresh eggs from us. Within walking distance you can reach the "Beautiful View" overlook. Here you have a magnificent view over the entire Rursee and it is the starting point for numerous hikes and excursions. Even at night, this is a special place, because it is designated as a star point in the Eifel Star Park. Also within walking distance is the Schmidt Wildlife Park, a destination for all ages.
