Truckee's Wonder offers a very spacious retreat with plenty of parking, delightful mountain and nature views, and a great, enclosed backyard for kids to play in. The main living space of this charming home is located on the second floor, where you and your loved ones will find an inviting living room, kitchen, dining area, and two spacious decks. The living room is a great place to unwind with your friends–you can stream your favorite series or movies on the flatscreen TV while snuggling up on the sofa. If it's too cold, the fireplace will keep everyone warm in the blink of an eye. If weather permits, you all can hang out on the decks or take advantage of the outdoor private hot tub available in the backyard. Spend memorable nights stargazing in the hot tub while treating your muscles to a bubbly and relaxing time. The kitchen is a delight with modern, stainless steel appliances and gorgeous countertops. Store your groceries in the French-door fridge and let the dishwasher take care of the dishes once mealtime is over. Nothing beats starting the morning with a steamy cup of coffee, right? The Hamilton Beach Drip coffee maker is the answer. Meals can take place at the adjoining, six-person dining table and the breakfast bar that seats four is perfect for quick meals on the go. The ground-floor level features another great space to relax. This family room also boasts a flatscreen TV with Apple TV, another fireplace, and more comfortable seating. There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer combo and two full-size fridges, perfect to keep snacks and goodies fresh for those staying on this level too. Things to Know No cable There are two active surveillance cameras on site. A Ring doorbell and a camera over the garage. WiFi can be slow due to our being a mountain town. Lake Tahoe is a mountain town. Our internet signal is different than in big cities. When there is not a lot of people in town, the internet is high-speed. As the town fills up and people stream, the internet will ebb and flow. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. More information can be found from the "Additional rules" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
