The space This 3 room maisonette apartment has got 63 square meters of scandinavian design and provides a lot of space for up to 6 persons. It’s a fantastic synergy of relaxation, retreat and your own four walls. BEDROOMS The 2 bedrooms are equipped with a kingsize box-spring bed (180x200) each, cotton-bedlinen included, stylish bedside lights, a big dresser and a wardrobe. Blackout curtains are mounted to the windows to ensure an undisturbed sleep. LIVING ROOM The living room offers a wide couch which can be transformed into a bed for two easily. It comes with a vintage wooden and cozy armchair in addition to a boho-styled hanging chair. Besides the 46“ TV with MagentaTV & Netflix you can use our DVD collection, the bluetooth soundbar or a variety of board games plus a selection of our favorite books. You can connect to your Amazon Prime Video as well. Normally, this is our own private space we live in when we’re around. That’s why it‘s much more loving and cozier than conventional holiday rentals. So there are many plants, natural wall art, our own books, candles, cuddle blankets and much much love in the details. KITCHEN The fully equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, electric stove & oven, dishwasher, water kettle, toaster, microwave, pans and pots, dishes, glasses and cutlery. For the coffee lovers among you, there’s a range of possibilites. You can use our WMF coffee machine, the French Press or the italian style Espresso maker. Besides coffee there’s a tasty tea selection, too. The large dining area can easily provide space for 8 persons. One high chair for children is available also. BATHROOM The bathroom is very bright and clean with lots of bamboo elements. There’s a large mirror made of walnut tree by the swedish designer Ola Wihlborg. The refreshing rainforest-shower guarantees a fantastic start or end of the day. You can use the hair dryer, the Bosch washing machine & dryer as well as the Adidas unisex shower gel and Head & Shoulders shampoo for free. Towels are provided, too. In the sink cabinet you’ll find the iron and in case of emergency the first-aid kit. Guest access The whole maisonette flat is entirely yours for the duration of your stay. It’s the starting point for your explorations and adventures. Other things to note LOCATION: The flat is located in the 3rd floor of a protected as a historic monument and can be reached only by stairs. SAFETY: For your safety, a smoke extraction system is installed in the building. The apartment is equipped with several smoke and carbon monoxide detectors as well as a first-aid kit in the bathrom and a fire extinguisher in the kitchen LEGAL STUFF: All guests in the city's district are required to pay a visitor's tax in the amount of 2,80€ per adult per night and 1,40€ per child (6-18yrs) per night. But the visitor's tax is already INCLUDED in your booking and there are no further costs to you! Included in the visitor's tax is the WERNIGERODE-Ticket for the usage of public trabnsport busses all around the district of 'Landkreis Harz' FOR FREE. In addition to that there are many discounts to restaurants, museums, and sights in an around Wernigerode. LOADING & PARKING: To load and unload you can stop for a few minutes by car on the “Unterengasse” access road. Please park your car so that access to the courtyard of the catering company “Café Wiecker” is not blocked. In our historic old town everything is a little tighter :) Since parking is not permitted on the property or in the courtyard, we recommend the free public parking spaces on Lindenbergstrasse, or the “Altstadt” parking garage on Pfarrstrasse (fees apply). Both can be reached within a 7-minute walk. HOUSE RULES If you violate the smoking ban or bring pets without prior notice, you will be charged a cleaning penalty of €100.00.
