The perfect getaway for parents to take time out without their children. Cloud 9 does NOT accept babies and noisy children under 14yrs. Our retreat is not designed for children in mind nor child safe. * Cloud 9's upstairs apartment offers a romantic honeymoon suite with it's charming 4 poster bed and unique private location, moments from the iconic 3 Sisters. * Panoramic, breathtaking, 180 degree uninterrupted escarpment views. * Perfect for any celebration, including proposals, elopements, wedding anniversaries and birthdays. * Spacious 8m private deck with outdoor furniture * Perched high on the edge of the Escarpment, you will see no other guests other than the cockatoos who will entertain you. Do NOT however feed them please as when you are gone they damage the timber deck. * Explore our unique Zodiac gardens, created in the 1990's by the previous owner, and famous Astrologer Richard Sterling. * For larger groups you can also book the downstairs apartment listed as Sterling Manor Katoomba, which sleeps up to 5 guests or the studio which sleeps 2 comfortably. * The nightly tariff is calculated for 2 guests. Thereafter each additional guest is $70/person per night. * The only shared area are the gardens and courtyard below. If you come across guests in the garden just say hello as you would in any bed and breakfast or hotel. * A Bird Watcher’s Paradise Depending on the season the gardens attract many colourful birds incl: Cockatoos, Red and Green King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, Lyre Birds, and Yellow bellied Robins to name a few. Bedroom 1. A romantic 4 poster Queen canopy bed, bath robes, antique clothes hanger, chest of drawers, bedside lamps and tables, luxurious white hotel bedding and electric blankets. The finest Hydronic wall heating in winter. Bedroom 2/Sunroom. Located in the sun room as you walk in the front door. * Fully heated in winter. * Two king single ensemble beds * Double sofa bed, for an extra person * Windows have dark roller blinds to allow for an extra long sleep. * Beds have electric blankets with hotel quality linen. * Bookshelf with books and board games. ** Bed configurations tailored to your needs. We are happy to accommodate last minute friends in your booking. Contact Joss O'Connell so she can make up extra beds. Our Joss our Property Manager is often around and we don't wish to embarrass you. * Extra VISITORS are NOT permitted due to the noise factor. Our Terms & Conditions and House Rules apply to all bookings at 'CLOUD 9'. Guest access The only shared area is the downstairs courtyard and terraced gardens. Guests are welcome to walk through the enchanting Richard Sterling Astrology Gardens as seen on Burke's Backyard and Gardening Australia . There is a gazebo and other outdoor furniture in the garden to relax by and enjoy. Expect to meet guests in the rear garden courtyard. Just say hi! Other things to note Guests come here for the peace and quiet. Please respect house rules with noise curfew from 10pm. Noise travels through the double storey house. Loud voices can be heard.
