Slow right down, time to Escape. The space Heavenly Escape is one of Halls Gap's most in demand holiday accommodation options. Just a short walk to Halls Gap, it enjoys one of the few remaining double blocks giving it a very private feel. Please, take the opportunity to read guest reviews - I sincerely believe they capture the spirit and comfort of Escape. About the house: it is modern, comfortable, stylish and creative. Many guests describe it as welcoming and homely with many personal, creative touches., including photography from the Grampians and lovely indoor plants. There is deluxe luxury spa, a cast iron wood fireplace, a split system aircon / heater, a raised balcony amid the trees which is one of my personal favourite elements of the house, views of the trees out of every window, a coffee / expresso / latte / cappuccino machine so you can have a decent coffee 'at home' without having to go out and buy one, a fully appointed kitchen with 4 burner electric stove, microwave, kettle BBQ, toastie maker, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer and a full array of pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Native wild and bird life abounds - kangaroos, an occasional emu or wallaby, cockatoos, kookaburras, rosellas, all frequent the property and I have planted a number of trees amid the native gums (banksias, grevillias, blossoming gums) which, as they grow, will attract a host of the smaller native birds. The property feels very private but is not remote. Escape enjoys its own driveway and parking area and very much does feel like an 'Escape'. Other things to note COVID refunds - since the beginning of restrictions we have provided guests with a full 'no fault' refund for cancellations due to Govt imposed restrictions. There are two notes - we do (now) deduct a $50 fee for cancellation. This does not apply if the booking dates are changed rather than cancelled. We also expect guests to cancel as soon as it seems likely they will not be able stay, so as to give us the best opportunity to rebook with guests that may be able to travel. Guests who book during actual periods of restrictions will be subject to our standard cancellation policy. We have been implementing a number of extra COVID 19 hygiene and cleanliness measures. These include: (1) all kitchen, bathroom, spa and toilet surfaces as well as the table are (and always have been) cleaned with an anti bacterial cleaning spray. (2) we also wipe down surfaces including the couch, the bed head, the remote controls, the keys, the entertainment unit, door handles and light switches. (3) as a current precaution, we have removed from the house - temporarily - all decorative cushions. (4) and as any guest would expect, all towels, bath mats, and sheets, pillow cases, are replaced with every change of guests.
