Travel 5 minutes by metro to major attractions in the historic center on the Green line and 15 minutes walking to the Red line metro to the airport, museums, and Avenida. The space The apartment has 3 bedrooms and a living room/kitchen area. The apartment stays quite cool in the summer, as it is on the ground floor. There is 1 full bathroom with a shower and another small toilet. The back entrance of the apartment opens out to Rua de Arroios without any stairs, allowing easy access for strollers and wheelchairs. Street parking is available on either Rua de Arroios or Rua Antonio Pedro. Each bedroom sleeps 2 people. One bedroom has a queen size bed, the back room has a day bed that can pull out from a single twin to queen size. That room is very versatile and can either be a play room for children or can be for adults with a desk for working or study. The decoration in this room as well as throughout the house is convertible to better suit our guest's needs. The smallest bedroom has a twin bed with another pullout bed underneath. It makes up for its small size with a original details, including an exposed old chimney converted to a wardrobe and double doors that open to the terrace. The two interior bedrooms have no windows or doors to the outside, but upper transoms allow for the movement of light and fresh air circulation. The living room has a large and comfortable couch and rocking chair. There is a side table that can be extended to be a dining table. The living room/kitchen has doors and windows that open out to the private terrace, merging the outside and inside and taking full advantage of the wonderful weather here. The terrace has greenery, flowers and a lemon tree. There is comfortable seating on the terrace as well as a barbeque and eating area. The terrace is nicely shaded in the mornings and from late afternoon, with a few hours of direct sun mid-day. Guest access Easy access for strollers and wheelchairs with street parking on either Rua de Arroios or Rua Antonio Pedro. This bottom floor apartment opens out to Rua de Arroios without any stairs and behind a privacy wall. The living room, kitchen and 1 bedroom face directly onto the garden, with 2 interior bedrooms that stay cool in the summer but have light and air circulation.
