Set over 3 floors, this important house was designed by the famous architect John Wood in 1729, and a friend of Jane Austen (Earl Tylney) once lived here. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION Tylney House is the most centrally located holiday let in Bath, yet tucked away on a quiet street near Queen’s Square. Bath is a compact city and being in the very centre everywhere is just a short stroll. The Roman Baths, Pump Rooms, Abbey, Thermae Spa, excellent restaurants and eclectic shops are all less than a 5 minutes walk. Even the train station and Royal Crescent are only a 10 minute walk. SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION: 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms: Tylney House has 4 good sized bedrooms that comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. We have a large family bathroom and a shower room on the top floor. For your convenience, there is a bathroom/toilet on each floor. All the beds have pocket-sprung mattresses and are made with crisp super-soft Egyptian cotton bed linen for a great night's sleep. To maximise the flexibility of sleeping arrangements, single beds can be joined to form super-king beds. 1st Bedroom: Four single beds plus futon - sleeps 5 2nd Bedroom: Double bed - sleeps 2 3rd Bedroom: Two single beds - sleeps 2 4th Bedroom: Two single beds - sleeps 2 Living Room: Comfortable futon bed -fold away during day time to maximise space - sleeps 1 - all single beds can form a super-king bed.
