Welcome to Our beautiful beach home we love to welcome fur baby families. Dogs welcome inside. We are 1.2km to the famous Stummers Creek lead free dog beach perfect to spend time with your fur baby. This unique private downstairs space/unit, has amazing inside outside living feel, private entry, lounge, kitchenette and bathroom, huge backyard exclusive to guests. Hear the ocean from backyard, feel sea breezes. Guests comfort is our priority, The space Thank you for considering our beautiful Beach home. We offer the fully private two bedrooms downstairs area to our valued guests. Downstairs is a private space with a separate entry and driveway. It is 2 bedrooms your own living area and a very well equipped kitchenette. Our Co Host Kylie that lives in the Upstairs house. Reviews reflect how much guests and fur babies love this unique space and return time and time again. Some guests staying multiple times a year. 1.2km to Dog start of lead free beach. Maps in photos show locations well. This downstairs area has two large sets of bi-fold doors opening to a large fully fenced backyard. Guests have exclusive use of the yard. Its a true inside outside feel and living we love. Kylie our co host is there to help if needed she is very friendly and loves dogs and extremely courteous of our valued guests so will leave you to your privacy however happy to interact with you if you need her. Please do no enter her private area unless invited as she will have the same respect for your space You will hear some movement and footsteps upstairs. this does not bother most and most people do not hear anything but if noise sensitive be aware this. The yard is 3 sides 6ft timber fencing one small section across driveway entry is standard pool fencing. (90mm wide gap) This area is NOT Air-conditioned as described in next paragraph Sit and enjoy all year round sea breezes that flow through the huge bi-fold doors and relax while you and the fur babies can easily walk in and out. This property has a true inside outside experience. The area we offer is fully installed with ceiling fans and the amazing sea breezes keep it a constant temperature Please note for this reason the property is NOT air conditioned, if you are heat sensitive please do not book in summer if you are use to a fully air conditioned home. We find it always cool but we want guests to be fully aware we cool with sea breeze insulation and ceiling fans - With doors closed you loose its daytime magic. we choose to have the bi folds fully open to let the magic in, this includes the sound of the ocean its breeze and much bird life. To use there is a magic to these doors open - Coolum is a dog friendly town and we are not far from the lead free beach, Maps at end of photos to help you. We can not accommodate cats as there is simply no way of keeping them safe inside with the bifold doors as a main entry point that are not screened This property does not cater for babies or children under the age of 5. (We have sadly had incidents with the big heavy metal bifold doors and little fingers. It’s too stressful for us and we have no child safety measures in cupboards or way of having the bifold folds safe from little fingers ) This private area is a great size for one or two couples that just want to relax in a quiet neighbourhood; or a single can enjoy all we have to offer. Reminder it’s two bedroom 2 queen beds. We go above and beyond to ensure the comfort of our guests taking care of all the little things and respect guests privacy. As much as fur babies are very welcome inside this property, it is clear in our house rules they cannot be left unattended to bark they bark when left or suffer anxiety We need to be considerate of our neighbours; when it comes to barking dogs. Please do not lock your dog inside as the sound is only made worse as it will echo. KITCHENETTE – Equipped with Electric frypan ( Plug in cooktop/oven , microwave, dishwasher all pots pans etc. Pod coffee machine, , blender, jug and toaster. and Airfryer PANTRY – You will find a range of Tea’s, coffee sugar, cereals. The Pantry also has basic everyday items such as salt, pepper cooking oil, cook spray, foils and plastic wrap. If you are staying for a few days please check pantry and kitchenette draws before you shop you are welcome to use what we provide and is there. We kindly ask guest to replace any of these sorts of items if they use the last of them. It's a courtesy to future guests. Please note this property is self catering beyond the initial products we supply at the beginning of your stay FUR BABY Numbers and behaviour - YES FURRY family members are allowed inside the downstairs area, please read house rules for full details. We like to keep the bog maximum at 2 dogs per booking, if you have more than two fur family members, then please mention this to us in your booking request and it will be taken into consideration, not always the number of fur babies it is always the behaviour that is of concern. Coolum is a very dog friendly town you will find the outside of cafes and restaurants very welcoming of your fur family members and the dog lead free beaches are only 1km away. All details in welcome book. Your Fur baby is not to be left unattended if it barks when unattended; this would be a clear breach of the house rules. FENCES - Back yard is for use of guests only. 3 sides of yard are 6ft timber fence one small section across driveway entry is standard pool fencing. 90mm gap. (Standard regulation pool fence about 3 panels wide) LOUNGE – TV, Smart TV 55" with Wi-Fi allows you to watch your multimedia content gives access to watch your Netflix, Stan or YouTube. (You must have your own Netflix or Accounts to log into we just supply the smart TV and Wi-Fi/NBN) Small Bluetooth speaker box to enjoy the music you bring with you as you relax. BOOKS AND BOARD GAMES also available for you to read or play. Ceiling fans in bedrooms and lounge areas enhance the sea breeze, as it comes through the large bi-folds. It is a rare day there is no sea breeze. The area is fully insulated so maintains a lovely constant temperature all year round. Wi-Fi – Free NBN Wi-Fi password is waiting for you in the "Welcome book". STUDY DESK in study nook Free Wi-Fi (NBN) although we have installed the NBN, the best internet connection for our property, unfortunately the Sunshine Coast is known for unreliable internet and this is out of our control. BBQ: small electric plug in OUTSIDE DINNING or lounging in the chairs while you watch your puppies play in the backyard; or if traveling without your dog then enjoy the sound of the ocean and relax. STRICT NO SMOKING: inside or outside All guest groups must supply at least one emergency contact mobile number on booking confirmation. We prefer to communicate via the Airbnb platform only however Airbnb no longer automatically supply hosts mobile numbers so we do need this sent in case of emergencies. PARKING- Off street parking for two cars or a car and boat will also fit. Not covered No EV's are to be charged at the property. Any EV's found to be charge will result in a $20 a day or part of day charge back to guests. ONLY 1.2KM TO THE START OF ACCESS TO ROAD, LEADING TO THE STUMMERS CREEK DOG LEAD FREE BEACH. We do not go to the end we enter the lead free area at exit 71 way closer to the end - Maps at the end of photos help show you. 150m to the foreshore, so you can hear the ocean while sitting in the backyard. Less than 1.2km easy flat (walk, or drive) to beach access, 1.5km flat (walk, or drive) to start of Coolum Township. Bus stop is only 50m away. 1.2km to access rd., leading to dog lead free beach. For the avid water skier like my husband, OZ Ski Resort is a 7 min drive away for world class slalom/jump or trick ski coaching or if you just want to learn to ski or wake board. Thanks in advance for looking after our beautiful home Fur Baby House Rules We allow your dog’s inside as we believe they are family members. We prefer dogs didn’t go on the furniture; however we do understand that some dogs are very used to lying on the couch. If they are accustomed to the finer things in life, we ask that you use the dog blankets and towels provided - However we really appreciate guest that bring their own dog towels and throws to protect our furniture as it saves us a lot of linen washing time. It also helps preserve our furniture and keeps it clean for future guests. This applies to the lounges only as dogs are strictly not permitted on the beds. DOGS are not permitted on the beds. If your fur baby insists on sleeping with you, then we must know in advance on booking and you are welcome to bring your own linen including your own doona's, we will then strip out beds back to bare mattress protector status as our linen is not for fur baby guest use.
