"Authentic" Jura house with character

Authentic Franche-Comté stone house located in the tourist heart of the Jura, in Montmalin, a small village of character close to Arbois. In all seasons, you will appreciate the charm and calm of this former farmhouse of 170 m², tastefully renovated and accommodating up to 10 people. With its cozy interior, enclosed and wooded garden, terrace and fully private swimming pool, it is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and meet with family or friends. Our completely independent gîte, which is classified as 3-star furnished tourist accommodation, is composed as follows: On the ground floor: entrance with library on the mezzanine, large living room combining the dining room and the kitchen, office area, a bedroom with a 160 x 200 bed, a bedroom with a 140 x 190 bed, a children's bedroom with 90 x 190 bunk beds, bathroom with shower, toilet, cellar. Upstairs: living room with sofa and TV, large bedroom with 140 x 190 bed in mezzanine, 140 x 190 sofa bed below and children's playroom, bathroom with bathtub and toilet. Outside: enclosed and wooded 800 m², sunny terrace. For the summer, fully secure 8x4 m private pool (gate with safety handle and fence), 15 to 18 kg swimming vest, various accessories. For winter, two pellet stoves and a wood-burning stove. To enhance your stay, we provide you with children's games, board games, DVDs, books and tourist documentation (Welcome booklet, brochures, walking routes, maps...). Our accommodation is suitable for the youngest (safety barriers, baby bed, changing table, play area) Bed linen provided as an option, upon request from your booking (10 euros per bed, free from 14 nights). Please note: we do not provide towels or additional rolls of toilet paper. Pets are not allowed. Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the house. No cleaning fee, the house must be returned in the condition you found it. During school holidays, 6 to 7 nights minimum. In July and August, 14 nights minimum (from Saturday to Saturday) Energy: - Green electricity: 35 kWh per day included. If exceeded, payment of the kWh at market price. - Heating costs during heating period: 2 bags of pellets per day included. If exceeded, additional bags available at market price. - For the wood-burning stove, logs are available free of charge. If additional energy costs, payment at the end of the stay. Don't panic, these numbers are based on normal consumption. They generally incur little or no additional costs. (This allows us above all to avoid abuse and to adapt to the proliferation of electric vehicles). Other things to note In case of absence or late arrival, the house is equipped with a secure key box.
