In the heart of the ancient harbour town of Watchet, boasting a colourful maritime history dating back over two thousand years, nestled between Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills A cosy cottage for couples or families to enjoy the town and surrounding area with all local shops, real ale pubs, harbour, beach and West Somerset Steam Railway on doorstep. Outside is a furnished private courtyard garden ideal for al frescho dinning or a glass of wine. Well behaved dogs welcome The space Stepping through the large double gates and passing through the undercroft into the mews your are met by the main gardens with the cottage situated in a quite corner. The cottage sleeps four, with one double and one twin with a family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom providing plenty of facilities. It has a well equipped modern kitchen fitted gas hob, electric oven and additional microwave. Double sofa's and a Smart HDR LED TV (Apps include YouTube, Netflix etc..) in the sitting room for cosy evenings in. With wifi also available to upload those pictures of your days adventures. Outside is a furnished private courtyard garden ideal for Al frescho dinning or just to enjoy a glass of wine after a long day exploring. Parking is available at a daily fee in adjacent public carpark and a large secure bike store is also available. Guest access The cottage sleeps four, with one double and one twin room with a family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom providing plenty of facilities. We also live in the town, so usually on hand to help if required or just give local tips! Other things to note West Somerset Railway station in Watchet gives access to 27 miles of preserved steam railway running from Minehead along the coast to Watchet and then heading into the Quantock Hills passing many countryside stations to the final stop at Bishops Lydard. Regular trains running the spring through to Autumn with special trains over the xmas and new year holidays
