Shells, double-bed apartment just off seafront

“Shells” is a well-presented self-catering holiday apartment, tastefully decorated and ideally situated just off the seafront, a minute’s easy walk to the sea and to the town centre. The apartment offers an airy lounge, a separate bedroom with a very comfortable double bed, shower room and a fully-equipped separate kitchen. The apartment has a light and airy lounge with a large corner sofa, TV, books and games, a dining table and chairs for two and a balcony with seating for two guests in summer. The separate bedroom has a comfortable double bed, 100% cotton bed linen is included and made up ready for your arrival with quality summer and winter duvets for when seasons change. No feather pillows or feather duvet for allergy sufferers. Towels are also included for your convenience. A wall-mounted colour TV is provided in the bedroom and there is ample storage/wardrobe space (2 double built-in wardrobes with hangers). There is a separate fully equipped kitchen with all the facilities you would expect; microwave, electric hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine, crockery, cutlery, glasses...we've tried to think of everything. Shells offers a shower room with electric shower, hand basin, WC, and heated towel rail. Night storage heaters and additional electric heater are provided if required. A lift requiring manual closure of two sliding doors is available to this first-floor apartment. THE LIFT IS CURRENTLY NOT WORKING TO THE 1ST FLOOR WHERE THE FLAT IS - JUST STAIRS From the garage, there are 7 steps up then a bend then 7 further steps to get you to the first floor. There is on-site parking in a dedicated space within the secure gated car park, but please note that the space is an awkward corner spot and will not suit larger cars or for anyone with mobility issues if a car is parked next to you. Height restriction applies on entry (i.e. not suitable for vans) or roof boxes. As an alternative, we offer free use of a car parking permit for Manor Road Long Stay car park. You may wish to make your own arrangements if neither provisions are suitable. Manor Road Long Stay car park is approximately 600 metres along the coastal road. You can leave the car park at any time but entry back in is restricted in the evenings. Please check the council's information for up-to-date timings. If you have issues with access or mobility, please let us know so we can discuss if this is a suitable booking for you. Free unlimited WiFi. Regrettably, we believe this apartment is not suitable for children because of the balcony. There is a key to the patio door leading out onto the balcony if you chose to keep this door locked and remove the key but our recommendation is not to accept bookings with toddlers/older children. Please note the space is an awkward corner spot and may not suit larger cars or people with mobility issues that require space to exit and enter their car. As an alternative, we offer free use of a car parking permit for Manor Road Long Stay car park. We accept no liability for any damage caused to yourself or your vehicle within Western Court Car Park. The lift is currently only working between the ground and the second floor, avoiding the first floor where the flat is. Apologies for any inconvenience.
