Roker Street Retreat

This luxurious, spacious studio offers a contemporary, quiet retreat with a distinctly Kiwi feel. Nestled in a fantastic neighbourhood on our Somerfield property, we are close to the city and the hills so you'll have the best Ōtautahi (Christchurch) has to offer close at hand. The studio boasts a super comfortable King bed, an ensuite with generous shower, built in home office and small lounge area. Outside there is a private deck with outdoor furniture and a spa. The space The sun-drenched studio is located in the back garden of our Somerfield home. You'll have views of our native garden, have your own private deck and be able to soak in your own private spa. Nespresso coffee, tea and herb tea are available in the room. There is also a small fridge and microwave. We are also well stocked with plates, bowls, glassware and cutlery if you would like to prepare basic food during your stay. If you're here to enjoy the fantastic mountain biking on our doorstep, we are happy to store your gear securely in our garage. If you have kids, we have two high-quality roll-away beds available for your use (extra fees apply per person). We also have a portable cot (with SnoozeShade) available by request (no additional charge). Guest access Free parking is on the street outside our property - there is always plenty. You access the studio itself via our driveway. We have a small dog, so the gate will be shut and will look very secure! Please do just let yourself in but we would be very grateful if you could close it behind you. We have a lovely front garden which our dog (and kids!) enjoy when we have guests in the studio, so she won't disturb you during your stay. If you are arriving at night, automatic lights will come on down the driveway and as you walk through the studio alcove. If we know to expect you at night, we will leave the studio open to make it easier for you to get your bags in - just let us know.
