Set in the attractive village of Aldbourne, Westfield Farmhouse is a stunning property dating back to the early 17th century with the addition of a large Victorian extension. Just 5 minutes walk from 2 great country pubs, 2 village shops, a takeaway 2 cafes & a lovely village green. The bustling market towns of Marlborough and Hungerford are both less than 8 miles away. Including EV charger The space Enjoy the charm and character of this antique building with all its quirky features. Open up the large gothic doors and enter the attractive Victorian hall. One side of the hall is the cosy country kitchen with wood burning stove and farmhouse kitchen table for fun nights sitting with friends. By contrast, a large elegant Victorian sitting room is opposite also with a wood burning stove with the option for more formal dining. You may hear water bubbling from a seasonal spring that runs though the cellar. There are doors that lead out to the sunny garden & patio area from the sitting room where there is plenty of space to enjoy barbecues and evening drinks. There is a family bathroom half way up the stairs. The large master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite, the second bedroom also has an en suite with two single beds . The third smaller room has a queen size bed with wash basin. A south facing garden has a patio and large lawned area and there is plenty of parking for 3 cars. Guest access The whole house is available to you including the garden and the shared driveway NOTE: After the first 2 guests there will be an additional guest charge of £20 per person per night to cover laundry & cleaning costs. The second and third bedrooms will not be accessible unless agreed on this basis Other things to note Wood will be supplied for the 2 woodburners outside. but you may have to purchase kindling from either of the two village shops. We only use the kitchen woodburner in the winter.
