The open plan living and dining open up to both a front and back balcony. The house is light and airy and is decorated with local prints and beach style art works. It breathes good vibes. The three bedrooms and modern bathroom are down the hallway. Two bedrooms have ocean views and sliding doors onto the front veranda. Clothing racks and/or drawers in each room are provided for storage. The front verandah has lounge and Adirondack chairs. The back verandah has a hooded gas BBQ and small alfresco dining table, an outdoor stair case leads to be unfenced backyard with clothes line. The laundry with washing machine and dryer is accessible through the garage downstairs. The owners and their families holiday here during the year and share their love for the area with you. LOCATION The location is very peaceful: located in a quiet street, unspoiled beach straight across the road, beautiful walking trails nearby to admire wild flowers and wild life; surfing, paddling, paragliding and fishing all at your doorstep. Spot migrating humpback whales from May-Nov straight from the deck. Pilot beach, great for safe swimming, and Kattang headland with beautiful hiking trails are both 3 min. drive away. Enjoy a coffee at the boatshed and stroll along the riverside walk at Dunbogan Boulevard. COFFEE, BBQ, WIFI Modern conveniences are provided: a Kafee coffee machine (buy pods from Aldi), hooded gas BBQ, TV with DVD player, free WIFI. AIRCON Aircon and ocean breeze. PARKING Single lock up garage and free street parking. Plenty of space for boats. The garage and laundry are spacious enough to store surf boards and other fun equipment. PET FRIENDLY Pets are allowed with pre-approval from the property manager only. Just chat to us about your needs. Preference for small non-shedding dogs. Pets to be kept off furniture and beds. Other things to note Need to walk up a flight of outside stairs to access the house CANCELLATIONS AND COVID Standard Airbnb cancellation policies apply to your booking. Once the free cancellation period has elapsed we will apply more flexible rules if your cancellation is related government enforced COVID lockdowns and travel restrictions: 1. Change your booking free of charge to a future date. This is the preferred option. If the new dates are more expensive, you pay the difference between old and new rates OR 2. Cancel your booking whereby we apply more lenient cancellation rules. We generally charge 25% (instead of the typical 50%-100% loss of monies within 30-7 days prior to arrival) with a minimum of $200 to cover our costs plus any commissions that Airbnb still charges us.
