3-star comfort cottage, near castles and Beauval ZOO 320 m2 house on a 7400 m2 park, fully enclosed and private. 7 Bedrooms for the comfort of each of our guests and spacious living areas. In the heart of the Loire Valley, calm and incredible light. Beds made on arrival and on request, towels, tablecloths and even a stove to prepare excellent local meals. The outdoor pool is open and heated from May to September and is private. The space The comfort of our house, although old, is very current, the double beds are all large (160 cm) or very large width (180 cm), duvets are provided for all beds and all spacious rooms have a maximum of 3 beds. All king size beds can be split into single beds and conversely the single room on the ground floor can become a double room (double bed or twin beds) provided that one of the rooms (triples) on the floor loses a bed. Total sleeping accommodations are limited to 15 people. In the 3 single bed room upstairs, possibility of making a large king size double bed. Bed linen is provided in the base price, but you must bring towels and tea towels or rent them on site (please let us know in this case). Very important, the total number of people accommodated is strictly limited to 15 people, including babies in a baby bed or baby carrier who count as a person! There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, however they are not wheelchair accessible as there are three steps between the living room and the ground floor sleeping area, the showers and toilets are not suitable either. This will come in a few years, we're working on it. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with high-performance equipment (2 ovens, 2 fridges, one with freezer, 1 filter coffee maker and an Expresso Senséo, pastry robot, etc.) and harmonious dishes in sufficient quantity. On the other hand, no waffle maker, raclette or fondue machine. If necessary, you can bring your devices, but in this case think of large extension cords (without power strips the room is large) If you prefer to spend your time discovering the area rather than cooking, we will be happy to cook for you (separate service). The fully enclosed park is perfectly sheltered from view and has no overlooking, you will be at home here during the time of your stay, terrace, park and outdoor swimming pool (open and heated from May to September) will be entirely and exclusively reserved for you. La Champeigne is located in a very quiet hamlet, the birdsong will charm you from the morning and all day if the weather is good The village baker can deliver bread and pastries around 8 a.m. You must order no later than the day before. In 5 minutes by car you have access to all the essential shops and the small town of Loches 10 minutes away has absolutely all the necessary shops and a remarkable bi-weekly market (the second most famous market in Touraine!). With us you will be half an hour from Amboise, Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Tours and less than an hour from all the other major sites of the Loire Valley, including the famous ZOO of Beauval (40 min) or the International Garden Festival of Chaumont-sur-Loire (50 min)! Pets are allowed in the Champeigne cottage under the full responsibility of their owner, however animals that could trigger serious allergic reactions in our future guests are not allowed (cats or rabbit), in short dogs are welcome. Supplement €15 per pet and maximum 3 per stay Check-in and checkout times For weekend rentals, check-in is from 4:30 p.m. (to be agreed precisely before) and checkout is on Sunday before 4:30 p.m. For weekly rentals in summer, check-in on Friday exclusively from 5pm and checkout on the following Friday morning before 10am. For Mid-week, check-in to be agreed but in the afternoon and checkout in the morning before 10:00 a.m. For extended or hybrid weekend rentals, agree on schedules in advance. Guest access You have access to the whole house and park except the garages which we use to store maintenance equipment and garden furniture during the winter. Other things to note A car is required to fully enjoy your stay with us.
