South Tyrolean farmhouse in the Passeier Valley - Altes Krustnerhaus

Description

In 2017, we, 2 Munich families with many children and a growing number of grandchildren, found what we had been looking for for a long time in the rear Passeiertal - a rustic house with history. The Alte Krustnerhaus is located in an area that invites you to relax and play sports and is an experience thanks to its varied culture and traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. We hope you, like us, will feel comfortable in the house. The space The former court house is one of the oldest and most interesting monuments in the Passeiertal. According to reports and sources, some parts of the house date back to the Middle Ages; the completely preserved stone vaulted cellars date back to 1150. The rooms and chambers above were saved from decay 15 years ago, carefully renovated and made comfortably habitable. In the bathrooms there is electric underfloor heating and the old brick ovens in the living room and the bedrooms are heated by heating coils. A modern wood-burning stove in the open-plan living area provides cozy comfort. The house is located on a barely used road, which only residents and mountain bikers use. In the distance you can hear the sound of the waterfall. Guest access Everyone is welcome in our house. It is very spacious with a living and usable area of 300 square meters. On 2.5 floors, it offers generous space for 12 people in 5 bedrooms. In the attic there is a newly renovated large bright room with 4 bunk beds. The house is suitable for 1, 2 or even 3 families, for couples or groups. Other things to note In the house there are still many original details from the past centuries and we kindly ask you to treat the old house with respect for old building fabric and please also with caution (especially with small children on the upper floor), as the stairs and low doors partly do not meet today's standards. A South Tyrolean folklorist has converted the rare relic into a vacation home with a lot of love and knowledge of history. There you can now take a break from everyday life, without the hustle and bustle and noise. Important for booking: The house is rented from January to October and over Christmas and New Year only on a weekly basis. Changeover day is Saturday! The local tax of €2.30 per person per day (from 14 years) must be paid on site. Also, the final cleaning fee of €135. Included in the price is the South Tyrol Guest Pass mobile. It entitles you to free use of public transport during your stay. Details on the Internet. Registration Details IT021054B4N7OT4PW9
