Sugarloaf cottage - stylish elegant with hot tub

Sugarloaf cottage is located under the Blorange Mountain on the outskirts of the lovely market town of Abergavenny. It has been tastefully furnished to a high standard with a Hot tub and private patio area with a BBQ. The cottage has everything you need to ensure you have a perfect stay. We have direct access onto the Monmouthshire/Brecon canal and the cycle path which is ideal if your bringing a furry friend with you as we are super dog friendly The space The cottage has been tastefully renovated to a high standard from an old stable block. The cottage is semi detached & neighbours my second holiday cottage - Skirrid Cottage. Downstairs the cottage has a beautiful open plan space with kitchen, dinning room (seats 6) and living room (one sofa and arm chair). Upstairs there a spacious bathroom (bath with shower attachment) and bedroom (with wardrobe and chest of draws). On arrival I will provide a complimentary bottle of wine/prosecco and welsh cakes to give you the perfect start your trip. Tea, coffee and other necessities are available including milk. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is something in particular you require e.g., birthday/anniversary decorations or if there is more about the area you would like to know before you book your trip. The cottage is the perfect base for a holiday of exploring, whether you venture into the Brecon Beacons, climb the local mountains (Blorenge, Sugarloaf, Skirrid, Table Top), walk the old railway line that runs alongside the cottage or explore the local towns - there is lots to do. The cottage offers a modern, luxurious and cosy environment where you can really make yourself at home. The cottage offers all the amenities to allow you to cook including plenty of cupboard space, fridge, freezer, hob, oven, microwave and utensils. If you don't want to cook I would be more than willing to recommend local restaurants including the local Indian Restaurant in the village. The Market town Abergavenny is approximately a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk) away and offers lots of lovely pubs, restaurants, shops and an independent cinema. Abergavenny also has a castle and museum which can be visited. The cottage is a short distance from the town Blaenavon which is home to Big Pitt, this was once a working coal mine which is open to visitors. There is a supermarket (Waitrose) in the town of Llanfoist or further into Abergavenny there are more options (Aldi, Iceland, Tesco, Morrisons). The cottage is perfect for couples, friends, families and business trips. I do not charge an additional price for small children and can provide a travel cot if needed, however the cottage is not really suitable for children over the age of 3 as it is one double bedroom. Sugarloaf Cottage is one of three cottages (Skirrid Cottage, and the Cwtch @ Pen-y-Worlod Stables) and I am happy to take group bookings. Using all three cottages I can host a party of 8. Please make an enquiry and I can ensure all cottages can be booked at the same time. ** Please note there is no additional charge for facilities such as parking, use of washing machine & so forth however I do charge an additional cleaning fee for pets, please enquire for details as this charge is dependent on number of pets and length of stay ** Guest access During your stay you will have access to the whole cottage, a key safe is located on the outside of the property and I will provide they key code once you have booked. There is also a utility room that is adjacent to the cottages which I can provide access to if required. The utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer which you are able to use (free of charge) and I am happy for you to use this area for storage for bikes for example. Other things to note I welcome pets however I would appreciate if you could let me know that you have a pet you are bringing with you before your stay, I would appreciate if pets are kept off the furniture and are kept downstairs. There is also an additional fee for the hot tub of £25 for your stay
