The space The lotus eater is your very own balinese style bungalow, nestled in a quiet tropical garden setting. Peace and privacy yet only minutes from the Adelaide c.b.d. and all amenities. Brand new aircon has been installed in August 2016 The bungalow is fully self contained and detached, located in the tropical garden behind the owners home in the historic inner city suburb of Parkside, with it's lovely old Adelaide stone architecture. The suburb of Parkside is located on the edge of the Adelaide parklands and so is only a stones throw from the city but without the noise or congestion of the C.B.D but with all amenities close by, including a great cafe strip 2 minutes walk around the corner. You can come and go as you please as you have your own private space and keys for the property. Lots of cafes and restaurants to cater for all tastes just around the corner and a couple minutes away from public transport. The bungalow is furnished with authentic indonesian furniture and artworks gathered by the owner over the years, so the decor is not your average bland motel or hotel. You have two private outdoor living areas, a front verandah with furniture for lounging on to enjoy the garden views and just relax. Also your have your own courtyard with outdoor dining setting to enjoy alfresco living and dining. Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. Walk across the parklands to the cbd in about 15 minutes or catch the bus just around the corner. Jump on a tram to glenelg beach. Adelaide hills only a 15 minute drive away. Unley Rd cafes and shops just around the corner. Wake up to the sound of birds instead of traffic noise or slamming doors. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to all the action but want peace and privacy. Minimum stay periods may apply unless there are small gaps between other bookings. Guest access Guests have private access to the whole bungalow including 2 out door areas, there is no sharing of facilities at all. The cottage is accessed via the driveway of the main house. I have an on street parking permit for guests with a $60 refundable deposit, permit is only required 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday Other things to note On street parking permit available with prior notice and a $60 refundable deposit.
