Description

Cook breakfast in a cosy kitchenette with stone surfaces and dine alfresco at a leafy bistro table on the private patio. Sleep like a baby in your King XL bed and enjoy the extra large saltwater pool and discover why this is the most desired location in Cape Town. Everything is within reach at this bright Cottage featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and natural colours. The space Cottage de la Mer - a beautiful, rustic-chic property for a relaxed holiday in one of the most exclusive, upmarket (and wind-sheltered!) areas along the Atlantic Seaboard / Cape Town! Cottage de la Mer provides a large, private terrace, equipped with sun loungers and sheltered outside dining area. News: We've installed an electricity back-up power inverter system, so you can still surf the internet, watch TV and have all lights on during load shedding! P.S. "Officially" it’s a shared pool (with the owner´s manor villa upstairs), but don’t worry, while you’re in it, it’ll be all yours ;-) Guest access - Shared XXL Saltwater-Pool (at the manor villa) - Private terrace with sun loungers - Braai (Weber Barbecue Grill) - Free Wi-Fi Internet Other things to note The Cottage is located in the affluent suburb of Fresnaye (bordering Bantry Bay), a picturesque neighbourhood at the foot of Signal Hill where the rich and famous live. Walk down the palm fringed avenues to access trendy restaurants and food markets, then take a stroll along the beautiful Promenade. Within 5 to 10 minutes you can be at the popular V&A Waterfront, the famous Clifton Beaches, Table Mountain or Camps Bay and there is even a "My City-Bus"-Station within walking distance! P.S. There are two small to medium (actually quite cute) dogs on the premises. Most of the time they are very well-behaved... And as is fairly common in Cape Town, there might be some construction or renovation work nearby without much notice. That said, you’ll likely be out during the day anyway, and it’s quiet again in the evenings. We’ve already factored this into the price.
