Designed in the 70s, the apartment has been completely remodeled and offers a cozy, modern and contemporary decor. Natural lighting is the watchword in this apartment. Both bedrooms, both with double beds, as well as the living room and kitchen, have large windows that allow sunlight to enter the entire space. The windows and balcony open onto different landscapes: mountain, sea, the typical roofs of the city or the Cathedral of Funchal. Here, you can feel the pulse of the city of Funchal in all its forms. The materials chosen for the renovation of the apartment are modern, resistant and exquisite, offering all the comfort for a relaxing and memorable vacation. THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND SURROUNDINGS We are right in the center of the city, which is the same as saying that there are points of interest everywhere. The Cathedral of Funchal is in front, by the sea, and the restored Old Town of the city, on the left side. Continuing to the right, the path leads to Largo do Colégio, where the historic building of the Funchal City Hall, the Museum of Sacred Art or the College Church are located. But these are, of course, just a few of the landmarks, because in the heart of the city, curiosities appear in every corner. In the center of Funchal there are restaurants for all tastes, terraces, museums, gardens and, of course, the city bay and the large cruise ships as scenery. By car, it's only 15 minutes to get to the beach area. TRANSPORTATION For airport departures and arrivals, there is an aerobus stop about a 3-minute walk from the house, or ask us to book a taxi transfer with our local partners. Cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the apartment. GUEST INTERACTION Our home is a home of friends, and we are always available to help or answer questions. Contact us via mobile phone numbers or email. We will do everything we can to respond to all requests. All information is available on the information panel at the property entrance. OTHER NOTES - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, high chair and baby bath if needed. We have a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and fire blanket on all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Tax will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist developments and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 years or older, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights for a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay.
