Charming Cottage in a peaceful and rural setting

Pretty holiday cottage in fantastic rural location set in the grounds of main house and surrounded by 30 acres of fields with two ponds. Situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty it offers peace and tranquillity. Tastefully decorated with an open fire in the sitting room and large farmhouse style kitchen with dining alcove. Private garden and furniture, overlooking a pond where fishing is available. Friday check in day preferred. Weekly bookings only end July/August The space The entrance hall provides a useful space to leave boots and wellies and there is also a walk in cupboard for coats etc. The sitting room is light and airy with views over the pond and garden and an open coal fire. A television DVD player, board games and extensive tourist information are supplied as well as fibre-optic broadband. The kitchen's dining alcove is suitable for 6 people. The fully equipped kitchen includes a cooker, washing machine, dryer, fridge, deep freeze, microwave, toaster and cafetiere The double bedroom and one single bedroom with a basin are situated on the ground floor, another single bedroom and twin bedded room (which can become a double bed) with an additional television and en suite bathroom are on the first floor. The ground floor bathroom has an over the bath shower. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. A cot and high chair are available on request. Guest access The entire cottage and the private garden in front of the cottage as well as a storage room in the nearby barn for bicycles etc. There is parking for two cars in the drive adjacent to the cottage and a private parking area on the opposite side of the lane for additional cars and larger vehicles. The are two ponds, a paddock as well as two fields and woodland. Other things to note Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage Dogs are not allowed Please note there is a large pond adjacent to the cottage and all children under 8 years old should be supervised whilst in the garden
