L'Heritier is a tranquil idyll in rural South West France, near to the bustling market towns of Villeréal and Monpazier. The gîte is fully equipped for all your needs, with a lovely outside terrace, spacious living room with wood-burner if you stay with us in colder months, and use of the pool in the summer. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside with the nearest town only 5 minutes drive away to excellent restaurants, cafés and a weekly market. Bergerac Airport is 30 minutes away. The space The cottage forms part of a larger property where we live all year round. You have your own private entrance, private terrace, courtyard and use of the shared pool with its stunning views of the lake beyond. Guest access There is a covered wooden terrace for your use only leading from the gite kitchen. The pretty fenced courtyard is for guest use only and has direct access to the pool. The pool is for your use but is occasionally used by the owners and other visiting guests. The large grounds are available for you to walk around. There is plenty of guest parking on the large driveway. Other things to note Please note that while the lake offers a lovely scenic walk it is unfortunately not suitable for swimming in, although fishing is permitted.
