Elegant 5 bedroom 5 bathroom apartment. A.U.R.A. (Acropolis Unique Residence Apartments) is a privately-owned apartment building which is composed of three large apartments for short term rentals, the host’s reception office at the ground floor and a private home on the top floors (former small rentals). Unlike most of the newest constructions in Athens, for the entire building we have invested in renewable resources; solar energy, geothermal energy, recently replaced by heat pumps. Our aim is to guarantee an absolute heating and cooling effect with full autonomy, through an under-floor system (for long-term stays) and fan coils in all rooms, plus hot running water at all hours, and the heating of the swimming pool during the winter season (for guests at the A.U.R.A. Penthouse). Visitors’ comments for this property all focus on three major advantages: Quality accommodation, ideal location and a hospitable host/owner. Reading what follows explains why. The A.U.R.A. Elegant Apartment 3, is situated at the 3d floor, served by a large elevator. There are 5 comfortable bedrooms and 5 bathrooms next to each one of them from which one en suite, that include 3 bathtubs and 2 showers. The bedding arrangements provided on this listing relate to the maximum capacity. Please, note that all five bedrooms can be set as either with a king size bed or two singles and three of the bedrooms can fit one more single bed, thus, excluding sofas. Guests are kindly requested to define their desired bedding arrangements. The kitchen area is convenient for home made preparations to enjoy a nice meal at the large dining table found at the sun bathing patio, overlooking the Acropolis at the end of a beautiful tree-lined pedestrian street. The patio’s large windows offer a nice view over the street’s life through the curtains which make up a beautiful theatrical scene as guests are gazing at the neighborhood’s residents passing by. The patio is particularly inviting to all guests as a relaxing lounge area with a comfy sofa and pouffes. All rooms offer separate A/C and the apartment is quite spacious, extending to 180 sq.m. offering guests autonomy and privacy which are so valuable during traveling and sharing an apartment, even among the closest group members. Guest access Access is realised through two security doors one with an entrance code, and a spacious elevator leading to the 3d floor. In addition, to further complement our guests’ comfort we have created a privately owned and secure storage facility just across our building’s entrance. No need to worry about early arrivals into Athens or late departures as it may be accessed by code. Other things to note Guests should be informed that the initial rate is for up to 6 guests. For more than 6 guests: Automatic 50€ extra charge per guest per night. This policy was judged as being to the advantage of smaller and larger groups. Prospective guests are requested to include the final number of guests in their inquiry. New taxes were introduced in Greece recently, for all reservations made after 01.01.2024. As a result the total booking price is affected. More specifically; • A 13% V.A.T. is added to the booking price. • A Transient Occupancy Tax (0.75%) is included in the booking price. • A Climate Crisis Resilience Fee (0.50€ or 1.50€ / per night depending on the season), is required to be paid at the end of the stay. - As per January 1st, 2025 the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is modified from 0.50€ to 2€ and from 1.50€ to 8€ and is included in the total booking price for all reservations made after December 1st, 2024. •Parking is available upon request, free of charge. A car would be eventually needed just for day excursions out of Athens. •Security doors and password for the main entrance offer peace of mind to guests who may feel insecure while traveling. •Quiet hours prevail in Greece also in the middle of the day which all visitors are kindly requested to respect. •Re-cycling is realized through special bins at the ground floor of premises. Elegant Apartment 3, is literally 10 minutes’ walk from the Acropolis, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus which participates at the Athens & Epidaurus Festival during the summer, 15 min walk from the Acropolis museum and picturesque Plaka, through lovely pedestrian streets. The Athens Riviera is also just a 9.0 km away and the most attractive neighborhoods are found all around the neighborhood of Thission.
