Bored with bland chain hotel rooms? We are a family-owned and run business, offering self-contained, self-catering accommodation in your own little slice of Waiheke. Driftwood is a compact but beautiful bungalow which looks out into the canopy of native bush. It has a generous deck for sitting outside, and gets all-day sunshine both inside and out. A perfect space to relax and wind down, 5 minutes walk from one of the best beaches on the island. The space The Driftwood Bungalow comes with a double bed and ensuite, and has a galley kitchen and a digital TV. Freeview is available in this bungalow and there is a connection for both Apple TV and Chrome Cast, so bring either of those devices and stream to your heart's content… if you can drag yourself from the beach or the deck. Guest access Each bungalow on the site is a private space with either an outdoor deck or lovely leafy patio for the exclusive use of guests in that particular bungalow. All rooms look out into green, leafy bush areas with an abundance of native bird life. Waiheke Island itself is a must for anyone visiting Auckland. Beautiful beaches, clear water, vineyards, restaurants, art studios and galleries and much more to explore. Other things to note Palm Beach Bungalows are self-service, so there are no food or beverage sales on-site. Our website has a tab with tips on where to shop and eat out. Please note that we require proof of Covid vaccination at time of booking. We prefer to receive a screenshot or photograph of your Vaccine Passport (send to palmbeachbungalows77gmail.com) but will also accept a photograph of your vaccination card. We cannot process your booking until we receive proof of vaccination.
