The space La Chiocciola is a recently renovated villa very convenient for its proximity (about 300 m) to the most beautiful beaches and shores of the bay of Marina del Cantone where there are also excellent restaurants. The internal staircase in the villa's garden allows access to the nearest beach club in less than 5 minutes. The villa was designed in the early 1960s by two famous Italian architects and, with its stone walls, ecological design and innovative shape, marked a turning point in residential architecture. Its spacious half-moon lounge opens onto a terrace that embraces the entire bay. Nerano and its Marina del Cantone are part of the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Reserve, which has been flying the blue flag for decades. La Chiocciola is an excellent base for relaxing holidays and with the possibility of daily excursions both by car and boat to all the main attractions of the Sorrento peninsula and the Amalfi coast: Naples 60 km, Pompeii 40 km, Sorrento 15 km, Positano 25 km, Ravello 40 km, Amalfi 30 km and the island of Capri 4 nautical miles away. It is also possible to hike along the many trails that characterize the area and identified by the CAI (Italian Alpine Club). Particularly recommended are the medium difficulty excursions that allow you to reach the splendid Bay of Ieranto (in the center of the marine park and protected by FAI) and Punta Campanella. The bus stop that connects all the areas of interest of the Sorrento peninsula is immediately in front of the villa's parking lot. The villa is set in a Mediterranean garden among olive and pine trees. The villa accommodates up to a maximum of 4 people. It has free private parking. Two flights of stairs (24 steps) cross the garden and lead to the separate entrance. The property is spread over two levels: the first level (about 50 sqm) has two bedrooms, furnished with all comforts, one with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, the second with a queen-size bed and an adjacent bathroom. Both bathrooms have a bidet and a shower. There is also a laundry area with washing machine, iron and everything you need to make managing the house comfortable. The corridor, with a panoramic view, opens onto the second level (about 50 sqm) living/dining room which includes a kitchenette equipped with all essential comforts In the living room, you can take advantage of a double sofa bed. The living room overlooks a beautiful terrace that embraces the entire bay. From the garden, a private staircase leads to the provincial road and, crossing it, to the nearest beach. The garden and all the rooms have a panoramic view of the sea.
