Atypical house & Nordic bath in the heart of nature

Come and take a refreshing break at Perchoir du Quercy, an eco-responsible house with unique architecture, overlooking the hills of Quercy Blanc and the medieval village of Montcuq. Relax in the Nordic bath, on the stretched net, the terrace poufs or the sofa near the stove... This spacious, comfortable and warm cottage has been designed to allow you to meet and disconnect, with family or friends, for a weekend or a week. The space Le Perchoir du Quercy is a friendly and cozy 120 m² house, designed to meet, relax and fully enjoy the surrounding nature. 🏡 THE OUTSIDE The cottage is surrounded by a large terrace, largely covered, where you can relax (bench, poufs, deckchairs, armchairs...), share good times (garden table and chairs, barbecue) and enjoy the magnificent sunrises. The wood-fired Nordic bath, accessible all year round, promises unforgettable moments of relaxation, as a couple, with friends or family. A pétanque (or mölky) court is located next to the house. On the land and in their enclosure, the sheep and goats, guardians of the property, will keep you company (depending on the season), as will the birds! 🛋️ INSIDE · On the ground floor · A beautiful living space of 48 m2 brings together: - the fully equipped kitchen, in which you can actually cook, - the dining room with a table that can accommodate all the guests, - the living room with large sofa and armchairs, and access to the terrace. A TV (80 cm, with access to Netflix), a Bluetooth speaker, board games and some books are at your disposal. Two bedrooms, each with: - a 160 cm bed, - a dresser - and a wardrobe. A bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet complete this level. · Upstairs · The staircase will take you to: - a large mezzanine bedroom (open to the living room) with 1 bed 140 cm and 2 beds 90 cm; - a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet; - a net stretched over the living room, to relax and feel lighter (be careful, it's not a trampoline 😊); - a laundry room with a washer-dryer, ironing board and iron. All beds are fitted with premium bedding and dressed with washed linen sheets made in France. The house sleeps a maximum of 8 people, but a crib can be added for a ninth little guest. Guest access You will have the gîte all to yourself, in complete autonomy, and will enjoy a space of 5000 m² in the heart of nature. Other things to note Please note that for the well-being of my animals on the property, I cannot accommodate your pets. Beds are made and the Nordic bath is lit before you arrive. Tunisian foutas are provided exclusively for the Nordic bath. You will have at your disposal basic groceries (coffee, tea, spices, flour, oil, etc.), eco-certified toiletries and cleaning products, wood for the Nordic bath and pellets for heating... Everything is included! The cottage is surrounded by nature but is not isolated: Montcuq, located 5 min. by car and 20 min. on foot, offers all amenities: supermarket, grocery store, restaurants, cafes, bakery, post office, pharmacy, medical center, etc. The weekly market, very popular in the area, takes place every Sunday morning. Lake Montcuq, labeled Pavillon Bleu, is a few minutes from the cottage by car (or about twenty minutes on foot). Everything is there to have a good time: a white sand beach, shaded areas, a playground, an aquatic games area (summer), a sports course, picnic tables and a restaurant (May to September). Swimming is supervised in season and there are toilets. Parking is paid in summer but the rental of the cottage gives you free access.
