Description
Sandpiper is a stunning beach house only minutes from the Lagoon Beach. Enjoy the open fire, chill out in our spacious lounge or explore the local beaches, bike or food and wine trails. There are 3 bedrooms to choose from: a king, queen or twin rooms. Two and a half bathrooms and a modern kitchen/dining room are perfect for families to self cater. The entire house and yard is private, spacious and yours to enjoy. The space The house is set off the road in a protected garden. It comfortably sleeps 6 adults or 4 adults and 3 kids. Two bedrooms are reached by a unique, spiral staircase and there is a downstairs queen bedroom. The fireplace, reverse cycle air-conditioning, electric blankets, heaters and fans will keep you comfortable all year round. We kindly provide kayaks and life jackets, bikes and helmets, golf clubs and a beach trolley for guests use. There are kids toys, an extensive library and family games for holiday fun. Guest access Guests have use of the entire house and yard. It is a great space for one or two families to explore Low Head and the Tamar Valley. Sandpiper is 40 mins drive from Launceston. Nearby wineries are within 15 to 30 mins drive and include: Bay of Fires, Arras, Delamere, Sinapius, Dalrymple, Piper's Brook, Kreglinger and Jansz. Other things to note Low Head is an historical maritime precinct. Penguin tours operate nightly just up the road. Indulge in great local seafood and wine. Sit and watch the sunset over Lagoon Beach or from the lighthouse. Stroll along beautiful beaches, discover rock pools and local marine life. If you like the active life, go mountain biking at the nearby Mt George trails, play golf or use the kayaks to paddle up to the maritime musuem, ride or walk along coastal paths.
