The space The apartment is in an old 17-century house that is inside the walls of the fortified Venetian-inspired town. Located at the North Gate by a square with a well known fish restaurant. In spite of being very centrally located, the location is normaly quiet at night as the most loud activities are a couple of (short, but sound insulating) blocks away. The old town have narrow streets and alleys that gives impressions of mystery. There are no cars inside the walls. Internet with WiFi as well as Smart TV, a surround system and Apple TV for streaming. Fully equipped apartment with new (2024) and separate air-conditioning in all bedrooms and the combined large kitchen-livingroom. Large kitchen with all appliances and utilities including dishwasher. In the middle bedroom there are two (90cm) beds that can be kept separate or made into a double bed. The third bedroom has a bunk bed, 140 cm wide at the bottom and 90 cm at the top. There is an aditional matress to sleep on the floor if needed. So in total there can be room for 8 to sleep. All bedroom windows are sound insulated with triple-layered glass. And all windows have mosquito netting (pull-dopw/up) if you preferer to sleep with open windows. Remark for those particularly sensitive to sounds; A few days each summer there is a festival (Kotor Art) that arrange concert just outside the apartment. These nights (two to four) in July-August there may be some loud music. Also, some guests notice a type of ´hum´ from an electrical transformer in the basement of the building. Remedial action for this is under development, but if your are particularly sensitive to sounds this should be taken into account. The many small businesses of Kotor often changes location and what they do for a living. While contributing to the charming diversity of the town, It may imply that new bussinesses (or new owners) change style which can imply more noice from these places - we will strive to keep this description up to date if this happens.
