This Shofu-an: one unit in a 3 unit house. However you don't share any rooms with the adjoining properties. Shofu-an is at the foot of Kiyomizu Temple, and is very convenient for visiting by walking distance many other famous temples, shrines, downtown Gion area, the most famous Geiko district. The house is traditional wooden house with modern equipment! ※there is a somewhat steep staircase to get to bedrooms. ※Previously, we had a sundeck on the 2F. But there is no sundeck now. The space We provide air-conditioners, floor heating, Slippers and Free Wi- Fi. 53 square meter It is a two-story townhouse Bedrooms: 1 Western bedroom ( 2 single beds ) 1 Tatami mat room ( 3 futons, sleeping on tatami floor ) Living room: Dining table Sofa TV Kitchen: Electric stove Fridge Microwave Nespresso Cookware Tea bags of Green tea and black tea Bathroom: Toilet ( equipped with bidet function) Bathroom Washing machine/ Dryer Shampoo/ Conditioner/ Bodysoap Bath towel/ Face towel/ Bath mat/ Hairdryer/ Toothbrush and toothpaste/ Hairbrush/ Cotton swab/ Bath salts are available. ※Please bring your own pajamas. Our checking in time is 16:00 to 20:00. ※If you will arrive later than 8 pm, please message and tell us in advance. In that case, we will ask you to do self-check in and visit you next day to finish check in procedure. Leaving luggage before check in time (after 11:30 am) is available, please feel free to ask us if you need it. Other things to note ※ When you check in, please pay accommodation tax of Kyoto government. This accommodation tax is not included in rental cost of the house. Please pay by cash. The tax fee is depends on how much you paid for your rental cost. If your rental cost is under 20,000 JPY per person per night, the tax is 400 JPY per person per night. (EX) If you are 3 people and you stay 3 nights, the accommodation tax will be 400 JPY × 3 people × 3 nights = 3,600 JPY If your rental cost is 20,000 JPY to 49,999 JPY per person per night, the tax is 1,000 JPY per person per night. (EX) If you are 2 people and you stay 2 nights, the accommodation tax will be 1,000 JPY × 2 people × 2 nights = 4,000 JPY If your rental cost is 50,000 JPY to 99,999 JPY per person per night, the tax is 4,000 JPY per person per night. (EX) If you are 2 people and you stay 2 nights, the accommodation tax will be 4,000 JPY × 2 people × 2 nights = 16,000 JPY ※No smoking inside of the house, outside of the house and the garden. Please smoke at convenient stores. ※Please be quiet after 10 PM and early morning. ※Please let us know the number of people correctly. If the number of people is different from the number you actually book with, we will charge you extra. Person not registrated for accommodation must refrain from staying overnight in the room. ※When you check in, please fill in a registration form and we will scan your passport. The Japanese Government is requiring “foreign nationals who do not possess an address in Japan” to provide their ＊nationality and ＊passport number in addition to their ＊name, ＊address, and ＊occupation, etc. and produce and make a copy of their passport upon checking in at lodgings.
