Wilderness Rooms is a family-friendly three-bedroom home with a creative feel. We're in a quiet cul de sac with parking for two cars but just minutes from the sea and Margate's Old Town. The space Quirky and characterful period house, set over two floors, with high ceilings and plenty of space to relax. Suitable for families and quiet groups only. There are three bedrooms (two doubles and one twin), a spacious living room with original wooden floorboards, cool artworks and retro furniture, and a huge kitchen diner with dishwasher for sociable family meals. Victorian-style family bathroom and additional downstairs cloakroom. There's a cosy reading area on the first floor. High speed fibre broadband and Flatscreen Freesat TV with iPlayer etc. We also have a play area upstairs with doll's house for little ones and a courtyard garden with outdoor furniture - a lovely sunny spot for breakfast! The two private off-road parking spaces are right outside. The house is located in a very peaceful private development, in a historic building, in trendy Cliftonville, close to cafes and shops. We are around 10 minutes' walk from the Old Town, 5 minutes from Margate's famous Shell Grotto, and 5 minute walk to the seafront and nearest beach. There is space to store bikes (at your own risk) in the downstairs utility area if you want to ride the Viking Coastal Trail - a safe, easy coastal route that runs to Broadstairs and beyond. Travel cot and high chair provided - please bring your own cot bedding. Guest access All parts of the property Other things to note Most people are surprised by the size of the house - and appreciate the parking and quiet location. We’re close to local beaches and the coastal trail, and great Cliftonville cafes like Cliffs but still within easy reach of the Old Town and Main Sands.
