Drover's Barn

The Drovers Barn is a beautiful stylish two-storey cottage. It is designed to appeal to families as it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has a large kitchen/diner with TV and sofa for a real family space. The Master bedroom is on the ground floor with en-suite and the other bedrooms are on the first floor directly off the lounge, which also boasts a balcony for alfresco drinks. Carters Lodge is next door but not adjoining so ideal for extended family. The space Whilst staying in one of our cottages, you will be able to experience a real taste of rural life. We offer experience breaks during lambing time and we allow guests to get up close to the animals and even collect the eggs and feed the pigs. Farmer Dave often takes guests out on the ride on Gator to check all the sheep and cows across the fields. We have 2 defined circular walks on the farm which the guests love to go on and finish off at the Wheatsheaf Inn with its fine ales and great food. We are also an easy 25 minute drive to historic Chester and lots of great eateries are within 5 miles of the farm. Guest access Guests can access all of the cottage and can wander at leisure around the farm and go in the open sheds to see the animals. We have a play area on the main garden with a separate football field and lots of ride on tractors and toys for the little ones. Other things to note This cottage can sleep 7. One of the double bedrooms has a single bed in too to make it a triple.
